Um, I think TFO was agreeing with SE.  Incidentally, TFO I wasn't abusing SE I was suggesting that they remove this arguement to the Abuse Thread so you have someone to abuse on there.  Next time I won't bother.

I can asure you I won't, tho not because of your suggestion.  Those who call themselves wise in the end prove themselves not wise, but foolish.

look, outkast, it's like this:

1) you look like an arse when you put a poorly veiled insult in your reply basically trying to make yourself look like the wise, even tempered guy. basically, all it does is point out that you're NOT anything close to the irritating "good guy" image you're trying to establish.

2) I don't have enough respect for you for any of your "moderation" attempts to do anything but piss me off. There are maybe two people on this board who can tell me that I need to calm down that I will listen too. One of them was online last time I checked. If he tells me to shut it, I probably will, but basically, if you're trying to calm me down, the easiest way to do it is stay the hell out of it and don't talk to me. Got it?

SE, Look

Has it occurred to you that the abuse thread etc. is a joke?  I as not trying to "moderate" you though you seem to have taken it as such.  I'm sorry if I've offended you, or if you don't like me.  I've tried to be nice to you, but you haven't really seemed to like me right from when I started, and I can't really do anything about that.

However, from now on it will be my pleasure not to talk to you.

yes, you have, for about 3 days now. Yes, I'm aware that thread is ajoke, but when you tell us to move a convo there, that's stupid. As is when you try to tell me to calm down when I'm arguing with someone else.

And I can promise you that no one will take more pleasure than me.

Outkast.... at what point did your ego inflate to the size of canada? Your opinions are poorly thought out, you take great pains to express them in inappropriate ways, you constantly try to act superior and intelligent while failing to infact embody such traits, and generally are annoying.

In essence, Try Harder.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Alright

A) Outkast, I have tried in the past to moderate, and I will enforce the desicion SE made in saying stay out of stuff unless it is somehow effecting you or will effect you in an immediate fasion, such as this one which is slowly engulfing all our members and therefor needs to be put out...

B) Outkast (again) no one will always like you.  You are to SE what TFO is to me or I am to Entropy, a nuisance.  It shouldn't mean you two can't coincide, it should just mean you two will basically not associate.

C) People will move things to "the club" if and when they feel like it.  We have a quote function here so more than one conversation can occur in a single thread at any given point in time if someone feels the need to work AROUND the arguement.

D) SE, I don't mean to sound like a nag or nuisance, but just like I need to ease up on TFO it could be beneficial for you to ponder on easing up on Outkast, until he makes another mistake, that is, then knock yourself out.

E) TFO, I thought I'd point out that next mistake you make I will be on your butt again, but for now, I will ease up like I am asking SE to do.  But one more mistake... :P

quiet, you. No more moderation attempts from the newbies. Feel free to fight amongst yourselves, but wait till you have more posts than me to tell me what to do.

Ok, even though I've found this thread amuseing to no end, lets use our "inside voices" from now on.

Outkast and others, while I appreciate your wanting to try and moderate threads please realise that:
1) you're not a moderator.
2) most of the long time members of the forum take it as an insult when someone who hasn't been around for a decent amount of time (about a year) starts telling them where they can post and what they can.  Yes it's a dubble standard, but hey life isn't fair.
3) while it's not approperiate to tell others to move there arguments to another thread, it is appropreate to ask them to stop arguing or take it to a private disscussion menthod (e-mail, IM, etc), or to tell them they're being morons and tell them to shut up.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!
