nah.  They don't have anything we want.  We won't even use half of their slang except for the dirty bits, and that's just because it's handy being able to swear in one country but not be actually swearing.

They speak English too.  We're not allowed to declare war on English-speaking countries, remember?  Only real foreigners.

Hey, I have to say, you guys did a pretty amazing job over the last thousand years, all things considered.  It's easy to be a big, hulking bruiser when you've got a land mass like the US, Russia, or China.  Ruling the world from a moderately small island, though--now that's tough.

Ditto on that.  England's got a pretty cool history, even if I can't keep my James's straight.

Besides if we took over England, we'd make it just like America, which would suck, because then where would we get cool British actors and TV shows.

The new Doctor Who series is being produced right now.  I sure don't want to jeopardize that.
