Worldcon Mark III

Okay, I got an email from the Worlcon program organizers today.  Looks like I'm going to be on at least one panel--they're sending out a preliminary schedule by the end of the month.

This means a couple of things.  First, you all get to hear me pontificate in front of crowds.  

Second, since I'm now an invited presenter, I might be able to get BYU to pay for the trip (they pay for faculty and grad students to present at conferences.)

If that happens, it means that they could--theoretically--end up footing the bill for the hotel.  In other words, SE, you (and perhaps others) could stay in the room for free.

This is very preliminary--I don't know when the submission deadline is for travel money.  I also don't know if they give me a flat amount, or if they simply pay expenses.  If it's the second, then they might pay for the hotel room, though.
