Just FYI, for those that blurbed the pebble game and didn't play it, in the game you're snatching the pebble out of SE's hand not mine.  You don't actuay think I would put myself into a game do you?  Also Gaijin is spelled with an "i" not and "e" at the end.

Nice work, Jam.

It's kinda cool to see the places you're at and go "Hey, I've been there!  That's Hungry Jacks!  That's South Bank!"

It's kinda weird/cool to know that you actually went to these places dressed as a ninja.

kudos.

I'm allwayse impressed with JP's willingness to dress as a ninja and cause trouble around town.  Not very many people can do that.  The bad thing about these articles is that we have to wait a year for the 3rd one; "Ninja vs koala".

Yeah, there should be some kind of halfway-to-Ninja-Day celebration so JP can take on a koala.

And all that said, I don't actually think dressing like a Ninja would get you too many sideways glances on the Queen Street Mall, given the way some folks dress.

Thankyou all. I didn't spend a lot of time looking like a Dork - it only took about an hour to take the pics. It's actually the second time I dressed like a Ninja in Brisbane - I was in a film as a Ninja a few months back.

Yes, that is Hungry Jacks, and that is Southbank. If you're ever back here, feel free to go to them dressed as a Ninja yourself.

It doesn't, in fact, cause any sidways glances. Mainly because I removed the hood between photos, also because most of the modern populace doesn't seem to know what a Ninja is. Plus, the Goths and Punks that roam the street ARE far more weird.

Unlikely to see me beat up on a Koala. They're a protected speicies, and not all that common.

As for all of you with a Ninja Fixation, I'm currently in negotiation to turn "Modern Ninja" into a regular column. There wouldn't be pics every time, and I'd need to save up for my own Digital Camera for Ninja Pictures at all, but expect Tsuruko Tastsuya-san (You will address him Sama, as he is a Ninja, and you are not, and thus he is better than you, Stupid Gaijin.) to comment on all sorts of things in future. Possibly.

I prefer to adress him as Tatsuya-me not san or sama thank you very much, or "Ano Yatsu".

edit: fun japanese word of the week: San shi ta yakko---  petty servent. (had to add spaces because of the language filter.

I blurbed it, but I didn't look very closely at the guys there. I'll edit the blurb.

That officer guy sure is taller than you. He seemed to be fairly apt to play along too.
