Indeed Osceleon. I demand a mod where you get to fight ufos!

Or failing that, one that shows the movement of armies during major wars. It'd be interesting to examine europe, circa 1944.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

thank you, it took quite a while to set up the picture. you may not realize it but one of those clocks is mine that I took a picture of, the others are from an internet search, the whole thing is just very cleverly photoshopped... it took a couple of days but I think i made it pretty seemless.

That's how 42 built some of the original TWG graphics (as you can see in our header), though I'm fairly certain that the new design he's working on is 100% drawn by him and not photoshoped images.

I like that image TFO, it really does look like a clock sitting on top of a pile of gears and such.

That's cool.

I'm glad I'm seeing some of this artwork, me and SE were discussing this earlier and hoping that the two sites (TWG 4.0 and SE's) wouldn't end up looking the same or similar despite both having a steampunk/clockwork theme.  Now at least I don't have to worry much about that anymore.

Wow I'm glad you brought that up, I was actually trying to keep it from looking like the banner on TWG, I'm happy that my efforts were not in vain.

Well it dose look somewhat like the current banner though thats because its realistic clocks in sepia tone more then anything else.  From what I've seen of the new logo it'll look very little like that.

so I sent some more stuff, and if may make suggestion I think you should use the second version of the background(with the outlines) because I tried it on my computer and it makes everything more readable, it also fits the style of the other things I sent you(the gear nebula, the header etc...)

okay i just tried this out, i made a clockwork background that matches with the silver part of the header i sent you. I think this is better, because it creates a good contrast between the orange site colors, however I think the biggest problem(it's not really big at all) is the white text in some places, but i'm not sure what you want to do with that, if you want it to stay whit I can try and make a darker background.

well, I'm not that attached to the colors, like I said. I think over all they're working well, but they're not perfect. I'm going to edit the color on that white text, actually. It hasn't worked well on any background but plain black.
