Jade Knight actually came up with both the bad idea and the slightly-better-than-bad idea.

Here are my pitiful attempts at helping with hard names:

Fuzzyoctopus could be "Eight Fuzzy Stockings" or "A Fuzzy Jolly Christmas" or "O Fuzzy Night"

Lightning Eater could be "Holiday Candy Eater" or "Lightning the Red-Nosed Eater" or "Bring Lightning, Jeannette, Isabella" (instead of "Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella" one of my fave carols)
