Rubik's Cube
« on: February 07, 2006, 12:18:41 AM »
I was just wondering if anyone here had experiance with rubik's cubes. I myself know how to solve the standard 3 by 3, but my sister got me a 5 by 5 or 'Professor's Cube' and have been having a rather dismal time getting it solved. So I was just wondering if anyone has any advice thaty may be useful to me. Thanks. :)

Pull all the stickers off and put them back in the right places.  That always works for me.   ;)

They're actually fairly easy to reassemble if you pull them apart. This leaves your stickers in tact so they don't peal later.

I had a dream once that my Rubik's cube controlled the future, and one day I was fiddling with it and caused my mom to die.
I learned to take my Rubik's cube apart really fast and it sat in a shoebox in pieces under my bed for 6 months.

Fuzzy: Whoa. Rubik's Cube of DOOOOM. Scary.

Hey, has anyone heard that funny song called "19 Somethin'" by Mark Wills. This thread reminded me 'cuz the lyrics say:

It was the dawning of a new decade
When we got our first microwave
And Dad broke down and finally shaved
Those sideburns off
I took the stickers off of my Rubik's cube
Watched MTV all afternoon
My first love was Daisy Duke
In them cut off jeans
A Space Shuttle fell out of the sky
And the whole world cried

The Career Day is hilarious.

Oh, and that squirt-gun fountain is funny. That would be great for a kid's room--if it weren't 800 bucks!  :o
