Jelly, I agree about the minor characters. Such as how Kirk ended up sleepwalking all over the place, how Lane's mother and boyfriend found a common point in hating Lane's contacts, etc. Just hilarious.

I also agree with MoD about the professor-student relationship. It's absolutely unethical, in my opinion. But that was a minor plot point, or at least, I missed most of that part of the show (I don't get to catch the show on a regular basis), and I never really rooted for Paris anyway.

If I lived in a town that was like that in real life, I'd probably shoot myself.

It's not like real life, it's just quirky. Plus all you people who dislike the banter are wrong. Because it's awesome.

I spent the first season pretending to read in the loungeroom while my mother watched Gilmore Girls so as to pretend I wasn't watching it because it was a girl show. Then MC Chris said it was good on his website so it was ok.

I'm sure your mom still thinks your cool.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

In my opinion it's just real life exaggerated. But there are many things about it that are much closer to real life than most shows. For example, how many shows have you watched where the main character who is a teen-early twenty-somthing doesn't even go on as much as one date for like 8 months (and not for lack of trying or wanting)? Not common on shows, but very common in real-life. I guess that is what I meant. There are elements of reality.
