Found Magazine
« on: May 15, 2004, 04:27:16 PM »
One of the most fascinating, and meloncholy websites I have ever seen. http://www.foundmagazine.com/ is an odd collection of notes, discarded photos, letters and images "found" by random people

In a way it made me profoundly sad to see these bits of peoples lives in an unfiltered and raw fashion. Think about it this way, the good memories are lost and the bad memories are raw.

I guess it makes me wonder what the sum total of human life really amounts to.

I've made lists like that.  I wonder if they have anything of mine.

Maybe, check the site and see.

I particularly like the Phrase "Infuse Relationship" and how it follows so neatly after Lizards.

Why are lizards more important?

the breakup letters were hardest, just raw emotion, and nothing else...
too charged even to keep I guess, too painful to read perhaps.

Sad

I'll have to go check it out.  I make lists all the time--and lose them just as frequently.

I don't make lists, apparently I am the only one.  I find lists and letters aren't preferable as long as I can just try and remember or talk to the person in person ( although I have the memory of a goldfish so trying to remember never works out...)

I once found a note in the hollow area in the middle of the tubes of metal that made the legs of a school desk. SInce they held up the top wooden part they stuck out towards whoever was sitting in it, and they were always full of rubbish. This note Read:

Give back the pencil case
and we'll give back the turban."
