I still havent' played either of these. After hearing what is said about pacific by anyone who has ever played it, I'm not tempted. Is Europe really that good? If so, why haven't we played it yet?

A pommy is a person from Britain, as referred to Derogtorily in Australia. E.g: "We thrased the poms at cricket again!"

pommy? limey?  Why are the British always classified as a bunch of fruits?

I thought that was the French??

limey has to do with the British Navys policy of issuing limes to Sailors to prevent Scurvy.
Pommegranates are a little harder to figure.

hmm it seems Pommegranate fits in with the great Cockney rhyming slang tradition.  (Barney Rubble for trouble, Clucking Bell for... well you know)
It supposedly rhymes with Immigrant.

Well I've always given cockney rhyming slang points for originality.

I just think it's weird to be a bunch of fruits.
