My friend named his dachshund Demieu. So he could tell it to "Get off that couch, Demieu!" (works better if you read it aloud).

My wife suggested Rogue as a name, which was fine by me because then I could tell him to search for traps, but the kids didn't like it. I was pulling for Sinestro for a while, but Captain America really was the best choice.
