The 25th anniversary issue is #41, actually, not 42.  I should know considering that I moved about six bazillion of them last night.

And Stacer--your subscription started with #48, cause I processed it a couple months ago.  So that means you'll get #49 in a couple weeks, and then #50 next fall.  We'll send you a card then telling you you need to renew.

I'm not incredibly excited about anything there right now as long as I am stuck with circulation.  I am so done with it.

Hmm.  There's a picture of sorts of me available at my LJ (JadeSolitude).

But I don't know if it would help, either.

Yes, but see that would require me to commit to coming to EVERY SINGLE meeting, seeing as how there's no Assistant Fiction Director.  And that's not happening.

Not necessarily. It's not like me and Old One can't help out. I don't come to every meeting, do I? I missed last Thursday for Enrichment and the Saturday before cause it was my anniversary (mine and my husband's, that is). We both know how to do it and I don't mind helping out at all. Especially now that I'm pretty caught up on the pass-ups. Yeah!

MoD-- I sent the catalogue today.  I've sent you a PM with the amount you owe me and my address.

Jelly--Yes, but people get irritated when they have to take over the fiction position because there's no fiction director.  And then they're grumpy.  And I don't want to deal with people being grumpy about it.

Well, I had no idea that people got grumpy about having to take it over. I guess this is because I was never there when it happened (i.e. because I was gone, hence the grumpiness). I promise that I would not be grumpy if I needed to (or if I was, I wouldn't be very serious about it, but rather a feigned grumpy). Just so you know, but if you don't want to do it, that's okay. Do what you would like. I'm sure it will all work out.  ;)

Thanks bunches, MsFish. I really appreciate your help.

The envelope is addressed, stamped, and contains the check. I'd like to say the "check's in the mail," but I'm too lazy to walk all 300 feet down to the mailboxes right now. It's sitting in the "Out" pile with our taxes, so you can expect it in a few days.

Actually, I rather like doing the Fic Dir job. It keeps me busy.

Way to use reverse psychology.  Almost fell for it.   ;D

Just kidding.  Deal is I'm having trouble committing to anything while I'm still figuring out what I'm doing with my life.  I'm back to thinking I should give up circulation and just take fiction, because it would simplify things.  But I still need someone to train.  Matt can't do *everything*, no matter what he might say.

I know. That boy wants his finger in every pot possible. I mean right now he is poetry director, nonfiction director, co-circulation director, and in production!!!! Psycho, but he enjoys being crazy--or so it seems. He is so incredibly busy he barely gets sleep. I could not stay sane that way, but whatever works. I think he should become the Editing director and assistant fiction director. With that and the others he could have his name on the masthead six times: a new world record! Awe, Matt. Well, let me know what you want to do. If you are at TLE and want to do it, I will hand it over (even if just for the night). And you know there is help available (see Old One's post as well as my previous one).

He is NOT currently co-circulation director.  I say this because I have not trained him on anything.  He's not doing anything.  It's still my job.

Not that I want it anymore, but still.

Sorry, but the other night Chris asked if that was the case and you agreed that it was. Plus, even if he's not trained, why does it matter if we give him the title before he's trained. It won't be officially in the magazine necessarily, which is about the only place it really matters (except maybe the Web site). I personally don't see the problem.
