happened a few weeks ago, but he could have left SE.com on his old server and that could have ended or the domain regersting for SE.com just ended.  I really don't know what's going on so I'm just guessing, all I know is I cannot find anything relateing to it on what I have access to.  Its best just to wait until SE has time to comment then to have us speculateing on what happened.  If it's an emergency I can throw up a pic or two on my site but if it's just curiosity on why you have no avatar lets just wait.

No, it's not curiosity, it's "where did my portfolio go?" And I've been uploading pictures of my apartment for people who are interested in subletting to see. It's not a hurry, but it is pretty important. If SE can't host it anymore, I need the files back so I can find somewhere else for it. There were some pictures on there that I had lost in my hard drive reformat, and so I'm hoping I didn't lose them. (I do have them in hard copy and can re-scan, I just would rather not.)

SE.com has NOT moved. It is still on Zippy, and is at my friend's house. He told me that it would be back up yesterday morning, so I'm not sure what happened. I will try to talk to him tonight about it.

It's been down for ~36 hours at this point. I'm not sure what the reason was. As soon as they connect him again, I'm sure we'll be ok.

Any news, SE? I've had several people asking me to see the pictures I posted a few days ago, and I haven't been able to direct them to the site.

zippy is going to stop being a server in a couple weeks, Stacer. This does not mean I can't host you anymore

It DOES mean that I have to migrate se.com much sooner. and it means that zyx.net will be gone. ANyone I hooked up with emails for any domains like zyx.net or se.com, let me know, I'll set you up something on the new server. Jeffe, you should be set already.

It ALSO means that you may need to re-add the blurbs to your pics, Stacer, because I can't guarantee that the scripts will be preserved. I'll make sure you have the photo album setup, but I can't guarantee it'll work right. You will *not* lose pictures if I can do anything about it (pretty sure I can) but you may want to make sure you have copies of them all the same. I'm going to try to migrate all data tonight while I'm still sure I have cable access.

This also means that the old AORP board will be dead and completely gone. I'm not going to reinstall all that message board stuff. If anybody wants all that preserved, archive it while you can. SE.com will remain as is for 10 more days, then I'm pointing it to my new server.
