Well, I've never liked JP.  You know how he is, with his Vegemite and Wiggles.
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.

1) Vegimate tastes awful

2) The Wiggles stopped being cool when they stopped being "The Cockroaches"

3) John Howard is a less than human asshole who wouldn't know how to run  his own toilet, letalone a country. He serves the christian right, is Bush's lapdog, and hasn't got any balls when it comes to anything. He's in it for himself and only himself - the very example of a corrupt poltician.

The poltiical party I vote for are the Democrats - they're liberal, but with balls (They objected to the war but decided we needed to stay there and finish what we started)

Howard got in because of a dirty trick, and has not right to run this country. I disagree with everything he does, and would applaud anyone who managed to get him out of power, fair means or foul.

except that the Wiggles were never the Cockroaches. The recruited Jeff, the one in purple, when he was playing in a band called the Cockroaches.

Greg and Anthony went straight to doing the Wiggles after they got their child development degrees

I got a couple details wrong. THis is from their web site:

Quote
So nothing is left out, let's start at the very beginning!
Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Greg Page met while studying Early Childhood Education at Sydney's Macquarie University. The three began writing children's songs as one of their music projects. They enlisted the assistance of Jeff Fatt, who played with Anthony in the popular 1980's band The Cockroaches, and The Wiggles were born. The Wiggles took the finished tape to ABC Music, who released a self-titled album in 1991.

ie, the cockroaches had already broken up, and Greg and Murray were never part of it either. Hardly the same as formerly being the cockroaches.

That's too bad. They were almost cool for a second.

Needless to say, Cockroaches or no, my nephew adores The Wiggles. We sing the fruit salad song all the time: "Fruit salad...yummy yummy!"
