I just have to say, that I love both the DM of the Rings AND Chainmal Bikini and that everyone should go read them both if they haven't yet.
News:
"Magic is what makes fantasy fantastic," someone says, "you can't apply rules to them or else it loses wonder!" I respond, "Sure, but if you want to write them you will certainly want to know how they work." Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. Here, I'm going to outline my basic method for developing a magic system.

I am so excited that the Wheel of Time is going to be finished and by the look of your credentials, I think it is going to be an excellent book indeed. I'm rather glad that you as a good writer (and a member of the church) got the call to write it. I cannot imagine what would have happened if the likes of George R.R. Martin would have got his mitts on it. Yes, the writing would have been well done, but it would be full of horribly descriptive love scenes, not to mention that we might get Myrdraal raping women and be forced into a description in minute detail. YUCK!

Greetings all, I'm new to the forum. I have come over because my favorite author's life's work is being finished by your very own Brandon Sanderson, but I have stuck around because this looks to be a nice community.
In an effort for people to get to know me better, I offer up my humble webcomic. It is a silly tale of an ageless dragon, with the mental age of a teenager, named George.
