Blast. That silver/tin thing is going to haunt me for years, isn't it?
I'm interested to see what Sanderson could do with humor. I enjoy his serious fantasies, and Elantris is one of my favs, but I find a book most satisfying when I'm laughing at least 50% of the time.
I'm planning to do some sort of contest where I give away posters, though. Maybe I'll throw in some hardbacks as potential prizes then, too.
I'm interested in the book now cause it seemed like it would be cool, but the movie tried to put it all in the 2 hour slot.

I can't remember a time when I skipped to the end, but I have skipped ahead a few chapters in a particularly slow book, just to see if it picks up, kind of like what Ookla said.
As a sidenote, I loved Labyrinth as a kid. It's been a while, but I'd love to see it again - I'd stick it beside my copy of The Dark Crystal. Hehe. Wasn't Bowie's character supposed to really eccentric and a bit creepy? I'm pretty sure the feeling it gives you was intentional, that's how they made the character.
