This stands out.  Period.  Faced out, this cover can really grab a person.  Ive decided I like it and the direction this art is going.

I agree. And I like the second (white) dress just fine, don't make it more skimpy (please). I like how everything is crisper, and the sword is shining.... I'm interested to see what is next.

I was thinking about the same thing... minus the paid job and my own schooling. I spent my entire day running around, drop daughter off at school, run home give the baby a nap, go to nearby town for lunch with husband, go to Walmart, try to find 5 year old in Wal-Mart three times (he kept hiding from me... it wasn't so funny), get home in time to pick up daughter, go home, start homework, go to ballet, go to another store, get home, dinner, baths, bed...... and I didn't get half of what I needed to be accomplished done... I could give you that list if you want  ;)

The only time I got to write was during the babies naptime, and some more just now. I am about to fall asleep on my laptop though so I decided to stop.

I just passed 28K

My daughter is in Ballet, this is expensive, we had to fork out $230 for the classes, now they are doing The Nutcracker. Okay, that's fun, but we have to pay a $25 performance fee, this is beyond the class fee's mentioned above. PLUS we have to buy the tickets, $15 a seat, PLUS we have to make contribution in one of three forms, 1)a donation 2)volunteering to help out in some way 3)donate an item to the silent auction.

This only pays for classes for 4 months, then we have to pay another $200 and some odd dollars for the next four months.

This annoys me... feel free to tell me you pay more.  ;)

I will buy a hardback over a paperback 9 out of 10 times. I guess I consider books an investment (well, that's the excuse I give myself at least). Paperbacks don't seem to last through my wear and tear. I reread books often, I take them with me everywhere that I think I might get a moment to read, and I expect to have them around for my children to enjoy, when they get older.

BUT I am also not above buying a book for cheap. I love library book sales! Most of my Nicholas Sparks books have come from them, poor guy I like his books but haven't spent more than $20 on nearly the entire collection. If I really like an author though, I won't wait for them to get to these types of sales and I'll go out and buy brand new.

And in truth, I'm just vain, paperback books won't look nice in that personal library I'm going to have someday.

Alright, I'm back  *Cracking my knuckles* I managed to do a little writing (like real writing, you know... pen and paper) when they were here, but that only put me over the 25,000 mark.... oh, so far to go. And I notice that EUOL is at 38K

grrr.  ;)

So what's everyone at?

So, I am going to have to bow out of any races for first, at least until tuesday... My mother in law has come for a surprise visit  :-\ there should be some rule against doing that.

I will catch up though  ;) so don't write me off entirely, I'm still ahead of schedule.

My four year old son just came up behind me and said, "WOW! She looks beautiful!"

I haven't read warbreaker yet, it's on my list though! ;)

I like the art, but as a non reader It doesn't tell me anything about the story. I do like it though and I would probably pick it up and read the synopsis if I saw it in the store.

OOOH... no pressure, guys!

I actually like them. Although they would be a step away from what the HB covers. I'd say if you were gonna switch to that artist for the PB then you should stay with him for the PB's so that they go together... (did that just sound really girly... sorry)

I would be curious to see how he depicted Vin before I gave a solid opinion. Although all those girls look about the same don't they?

Hey they're better than the Wheel of Time covers! That last books cover was terrible, I had to read the book to figure out who was depicted on the front.

(BTW, I think my NaNoWriMo is breaking my brain, this post took me way to long to articulate)

edited for an annoying grammar mistake: see what I mean, I'm malfunctioning!
