I saw this in 3d at the IMAX. It wasn't bad. I had read the comic that came out the following weeks up to its release and knew most of what was to happen.

I'm still kind of iffy on my take of it. I'm pretty sure it was good. Heck, it was a Neil Gaiman script. I had seen "The Mist" about 15 minutes before this movie and so I was kind of coming out of a real downer movie and into this action movie. (I was already a bit miffed when my friends, having not told me on my way there, that we were going to see two movies.)

Overall, good movie. I have to say having the entire movie in CG didn't hinder it. I enjoyed the voicing and loved the songs that were sung.

Gametap is delivering Psychonauts for free on their service for free until December 31. I've heard great things about this game and am going to give it a go.

Wow, this is really getting ridiculous. They've already fired some of the smaller bit-part players behind the scenes of some shows and are threatening to fire more and more people.

Why won't they just give them the compensation they want and just take the hit to their own paycheck? I mean they already make millions of dollars, bunch of bloated pigs.

Doc said he was able to save some nerves I think. So we'll see how it turns out. Also, typing with one hand--not as difficult as you'd think. It's using the moue thats a pain.

EDIT: http://www.flickr.com/photos/61159566@N00/ Here's my pictures. Do not look if you do not like: blood, black/blue body parts, and weird looking gross stuff.

I'm out of work for possibly a week, maybe more. Yesterday I had an accident at work. I was using the forklift and had to manually move one of the forks to hold more weight. I let the fork go with my left hand, but my higher brain functions were too slow and my hand was even slower.

My right index finger was crushed between two pieces of steel. I have pictures if anyone wants to see them. I got to the ER about 10 minutes after it happened and ended up waiting until about 5-5:30 for the hand specialist to come in and do his thing. I first arrived about 12:15.

Once the doctor got to work, my finger was stitched up and put in plenty of gauze and a splint. I also have to use a sling and cannot use my right hand at all.

The finger was crushed above/around the first knuckle. The nail is being held on by stitches. I find out monday what's next for me and my finger.

Also, they gave me lortabs for the pain. It's very similar to the effects of alcohol I must say.

Ok, so I'm gonna be a little self-conscious here, but would Sprig or someone else know how many hits this review got? I'd like to know if it brought in any traffic or whatever.

Thanks.

Well, I submitted it. It's over 650 words, so it's a long one (for a music review I'd say).

I'm heading to work right now, however, I just finished writing my review of Neil Young's "Chrome Dreams II". Now, I don't know if you want it, but I'm going to look it over at work and fix anything that needs fixing when I get home.

I'll be looking for a reply when I get home.  ;)

What is a Pumpkin Bar? That sounds delicious! My friend made a cream cheese pumpkin pie the other night when he had people over for dinner. It was very good.
