Hey!  I'll be signing there with you.

So, is the Book Table a popular store?  Or are we all going to be really bored?

I agree with Fell.  Even though I agree that Incredibles was better than Cars, they're both at the bottom of the Pixar totem pole.

I took my 4-year-old to see Happy Feet, and she was bored out of her mind.  Granted, she doesn't have a huge attention span, but she was ready to leave after forty-five minutes.

The fishing issue didn't bother me at all, but I was a little annoyed by the weird anti-religion thing at the end.  The biggest problem, though, was that it was just too dang serious and depressing--not at all like the commercials make it appear.

Here's a question: did we ever see how Suresh tracked down all the supers?  In particular, do we know ho he tracked down Claire?  (She was adopted, and I got the impression that the adoption was kind of under-the-table.)

I think the backstory for Sylar changed him from monstrous to serial killer.  To me, he'd always seemed to be the monstrous, irrational-killer bad guy, while other people (Linderman, possibly?) seemed to be the more cerebral bad guys.

I think it's just the old monster-movie thing: the less you see the monster, the scarier he is.  When you see him--and see that he can be understood--he is less scary.  Don't get me wrong--it was a great backstory.  I just was expecting him to be... more, I guess.  More powerful, more all-knowing, not just a bad version of the other supers.

I was kind of bummed by last night's episode.  I mean, it was cool, but now Sylar doesn't seem nearly as scary as he used to.  It was interesting, but kind of a letdown.

"In Jackson's letter, which was posted on the Web site late on Sunday, the director said last week a top executive with Los Angeles-based New Line Cinema called him to say the studio was moving ahead on "The Hobbit" movie without Jackson."

Ha ha...  It's nice to see that while some things change, much remains the same.

It's kind of nice to have a good old one-star ranty review again, though.  It reminds me of the old Panic Room days.

I took the GMAT yesterday, and got a 730!  That's, like, freaking awesome.

Fox News is reporting that Studio 60 is very near to cancellation.  The entertainment reporter obviously dislikes the show, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

I agree.  It was created by Aaron Sorkin, who did West Wing, and this show seems to capture the same level of intelligent writing and commentary.  (Say what you will about politics, West Wing was well-written and well-acted.)

Last night, during every commercial, I'd turn to my wife and tell her how amazed I was at how great Studio 60 is.  I hope it can keep it up.
