Brandon Sanderson / Re: Warbreaker Sample Chapters
« on: August 20, 2006, 05:42:34 PM »
To sound every inch the hypocrite, I reread the chapter, and found it better then when I just breezed through it.

Also, since it seems to be my Sunday to hate people,
whoever posted the random thread needs hung out and shot!!!!
::EDIT:: Sorry GLE, but that post kinda annoyed me, because I had just lost to that evil steward.....
Anyway, I believe that I should start posting like you do.  I'd be an InkDryer no longer ;D

Hey, Chimera, Talledega Nights really wasn't that bad. It was just senseless and stupid. Anyway, I got a 110 on my World History Test! YAY ME!!!!! ;D

And to that SuperE I would just like to say that maybe it would result in a tie, but then I would
simply have my good friend Mafia Bob obliterate the remnants of your army!!! 8) MWAHAHAHAHAHA

I have to agree, exept on a few minor points.
#1. These books are really more of a 3-8 grades
kind of thing. They were at my brother's 3rd grd book fair, and they sold alot.
#2   Though the writing is a little grade school, that's kinda where it Is selling best. I mean, you don't see Gemmel in the kids section, and you wont see this anywhere but there.
It is an vaguely entertaining read, and it DOES get a little better further in the series.  Compared with other books in the same isle at BAM, i'd give it 4 clocks.

I have to say, I'm sorry, EUOL, but this chapter was kind of an anticlimax for me :'( I had just been waiting for some Vasher, but all that happened was that we find out that the preists are hiding something!
Otherwise, you are the best writer of fiction i've read in a while. ;D :D ;D

I'm happy because I keep hearing about htese commando penguins. And I think that *finally* there may be a battle that's entertaining to watch (where the ninja monkeys have to actually work to win, instead of slaughtering the opponenent in the first few seconds.
My penguins will prevail!!! :P ;D

Sorry SuperE!! :-/ I agree wholeheartedly that the South is one of the best places to live, though sometimes the place is frustrating.

I'm happy 'cause my dad called from Vietnam :D
He hasn't called in DAYS and I was considering
sending my commando penguins to find him.

Up to Witchita closer to work

I wonder if he'll meet my cousin Melissa the snowplow driver....... ;D She rents a loft up there.
