I'm re-reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.  I know it's sort of an old one, but I'm catching up.  I'm sort of surprised nobody here has mentioned them, yet.  I know it takes him a while to fork out a book, but it's a fabulous series.

I would agree with Spriggan on this bit.  I haven't actually played it, but I bought both the first and the second for my best friend who loves the Final Fantasy's, (and have watched alot of him playing both) but found the 2nd was a bit lacking...From what I've seen of it though, I think it may be worth buying the 2nd.  Not quite as good as the first though, however, if you want a new rpg to play I say go for it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed.  I'm new here myself, but half a bit more class and courtesy than that!

I plan to have the same background villain running the bad guy show in all three. Hopefully, a reanimated Richard Pryor will agree to the role once the voodoo lady is done with him (hey, she brought back Marlon Brando and Captain Barbosa).

I must admit when I first read the thread title, I was a bit...hesitant...but after reading all of your ideas, (especially love the Richard Pryor bit, it's just too riduculously funny not to include him) I think you have a stellar idea.

Personally, I like the lyrics to a couple of their songs, like "Hello" and "Taking Over Me".  I also like the tone of her voice, but I can see how some people would be a bit turned off by them.  They can be a bit repetative.

Finally got to see Pirates today.  I thought it was very satisfying.  It has the making to be a great second chapter of an overall wonderful trilogy.  Reminded me a bit of Empire Strikes back in that way.  Dark, revelations, a bit more romantic, tense, and leaves you with a little feeling of "qua"?  Not bad, not bad at all...

Ah.....Hurrah for acting and for theater.  There's nothing like doing a play to get your excitement level up.  (At least for me)  Leave it to the theater to put a little bit of good old fashion drama into your life.

Ok, I'm sorry, but I don't see what everbody's big beef about this movie is.   It's Superman, what more do you people want?  I thought that I may miss Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackmen, but I didn't miss either, and I thought that made up for the poor acting on the girl that played Lois Lane.  Personally, that's my only beef with the movie.  I thought it pretty much stayed true to form.  I loved it and don't pay attention to what critics say.  I thought Parker Posey was great, though I did miss the "Miss Tesmaker!" remark...

Last year, I read that they were supposed to do a live-action remake of the Last Unicorn.  It was supposed to have a lot of the original cast (switching roles) including, Christopher Lee, Angela Landsburry, Mia Farrow, ect.  But I haven't been able to find much information on the project.  It looks to be suspended for some reason.  This is there main website, which is pretty cool, but I couldn't find any info on production or release dates, http://www.the-last-unicorn.net/intro.htm.  I can't be the only one that loves this classic.  If anyone runs across any info, let me know!!!
