Weight Watchers recipe cards from the 70's, with commentary. By the end, I was crying and unable to breathe, kind of like when that girl who refused to admit we were dating pepper-sprayed me. Only this time, I was the one laughing.
Fair warning: there is occasional profanity and vulgarity.

$600 seems a lot of money to me for a gun that won't actually melt someone's flesh.
But yes, they are very cool.

A vital issue that has yet to be addressed here is that loot is not always carried on one's person. For example, a dragon typically carries almost no equipment or other valuables, yet are high CR and, once you find their hoards, worth (possibly literally) tons of money.

No, I'm not just bitter that if you only count what I have on me I'm worth squat in xp.

In math class:
"There's no 'i' in team."
"That's why jerseys only have real numbers on them."

Here's some help if you don't get it.

Role-Playing Games / Re: review: Cityscape

I think this should stay, though:
Quote
The sadist thing about Cityscape
This relatively minor typo changes the review from being about a book that just isn't written or put together well to one that was done that way intentionally, for the purpose of causing the reader pain. And that's a writing philosophy I can get behind. ;D
I'll definitely check out Sharn, though. I agree that a campaign set solely in one city would be fascinating, and well worth playing or running.
And I could use some more bland and uninspiring music.

Until you reach the South Pole. Then you can only go north. And you're really cold, which seems to defeat the purpose of moving south.

I'm happy because someone else knows what Tanstaafl means. Though, given the forum, I shouldn't be surprised.

I was able to say goodbye in person last night to someone special, despite the Universe throwing obstacles in our way.

Oh, yeah, and for the next few months, the only money I have to spend is for my car.
