Rants and Stuff / Re: another spam rant

wow, that is a pretty old one.  I am actually glad i don't get much new spam.  I keep getting the old daily ones; enlarge your member!  and other stupid clearly sexual ones.  I love having to not even check if they are sent from someone in my past, having the title in all caps with letters that don't make words helps.

I was looking through the monster manual the other day at all the kinds of monsters you could possibly play as.  I was just going off the level adjustment as the indicator that you could play as one.  Am i right in my guess?  I bet you could probably play as anything but i think they use level adjustment to use as a guideline as to what you can and can't play.  Anyway, lots of cool monsters.

i got that along with a bunch of other spams the same day from that same address.  it was kind of obvious, but that last part with their address and hours and stuff made me double take.

Video Games / Re: Xbox 360

i am waiting on getting a new system, if i will get a new system this upcoming year.  There is too much hype for the xbox360, after seeing the people waiting in line for it on the news.  I think i might get the playstation, just because it has some games i would like to try.  But i usually wait to see what each has to offer, like a lot of other gamers.  I also think that microsoft is creating more of this hype by not putting enough of the consoles on the shelves.  I know that lots of kids this christmas will be happy, but disappointed when they find out their mom or grandparents got them the core system only to save some cash or because they didn't know there were two different versions of the system.

i liked this movie a lot.  I haven't read the books, but i had my roommate tell me basically what happens in them.  So yes i know what happens in the latest one,  "yay, snape!!(my fav. character)".  Anyway, i didn't remember the poly juice so that was a surprise, kind of.  I knew something was up when he took him to his room at the end.  Also the beginning of the movie, with world cup was pretty cool.  I also think that hermione is cute (yes I know her age, but can't i think she is cute without being a perv or a pedafile!), so i thought the dance scene was pretty good, and funny for ron, in that hermione looked good all dressed up.

Overall i thought the movie was great and i can't wait for the next one.  I also can't wait for more jeremy irons goodness as old voldy!  I did see the A&E thing after i got home, what a coincidence, and it was pretty cool not having to wait for a dvd to see behind the scenes.

sorry, i haven't checked this site in a bit of time.  thought everyone would get annoyed with me leaving the last post on practically every thread.  Also started WoW again.  anyway, enough about me.  I wanted to add that you sound pretty cool for a 13 year old.  I wondered if you played D&D with buds from school or if you played at all?  You fit right in with us other nerds on this site. Though there are many variants of nerds, which i still think is cool.

I like it when my other non-nerd friends would ask me about stuff in high school on a nerdy topic and i wouldn't know and they would say, "you should know, you are into that nerdy stuff".  hehe, when will people learn.  I will just never be into Babylon 5, to harbinger's dismay.  So keep your nerd learn on!

Role-Playing Games / Re: Your favorite setting...

i don't have much experience playing roleplaying games outside of D&D.  but i know i definitely want to try some eberron, though that is still d&d.  d20 modern was actually really fun.  It would be cool to try that again, then i can come up with another insane character.

My character was a field medic named dr. licorice, who was a sandslave (cyborg) who used a chainsaw.  He also found a little buddy robot (like R2-D2), that he ended up chopping up for parts, named twizzler.

i liked the article a lot.  though i would have to say that i never thought girls would have a fear of going in a game store.  I can relate to the victoria secret comment though.  Even when i was going out with a girl i don't know if i would go in there.

I had to get my sister some hand lotion with some gloves you wear at night that victoria's secret came out with and i couldn't do it.  I got one of my girl friends in high school at the time to get the items for me.  So hats off to you girls for actually going in.
On a side note, I would be happy to go with ms. fish if she ever wanted to go back and check out some white wolf books. ;)

i used to love it as a  kid, but as i have been reading or not reading it in the daily universe, i don't like it as much as i used to.  I like foxtrot way more now.  probably just because jason is hilarious and nerdy.

I can usually only eat blue cheese with bread or on a salad so i am in that group.
