I just tried to pre-order it from the BYU bookstore on the website, but the shopping page asks for shipping info.  Obviously, I mean to pick it up at the release party.  Anyone have any idea how to do this right so they have my copy at the store?

I'm pretty positive he said, and I paraphrase, Depending on how you count, there can be anywhere from 10 to 30ish magic systems.  You can take every individual way of using magic and count that as one, and you get 30...ish.  However, many of those are related, and if you count a group of related magics as one, then you get closer to 10.

Brandon said, quite recently too, that if you e-mail him and ask for them, he will send them to you.  I think it was when he was in the chat room, what, two days ago, that he said it.  I'll check.

*Edit* Yeah, it's in there.  You probably have to promise not to go blabbing things though.

Adolnasium is only mentioned by name ONCE in all of Brandon's published works.  And it's misspelled (At least it is in the copy I have, they may have fixed it for later printings?).  It's in one of the Mistborn books.

Dragonsteel is mixed with Liar.  Brandon is writing WoK INSTEAD of Liar, which he was originally planning on, but that's about the only connection.

Yep, hence Ruin and Preservation and Endowment and everyone else we've seen so far and don't have names for as of yet, haha.

Something I'm hoping to see, eventually (and perhaps even sooner than later), is a timeline placing Elantris, Mistborn, Warbreaker, and The Stormlight Archive chronologically for us fans.  I imagine the Master will make us wait until he's revealed more about the events surrounding the Shattering and Hoid's plot, but it never hurts to dream.

I thought we already had a timeline somewhere...I just didn't bother to memorize it, other than that Stormlight Archives is the beginning of anything and everything......I think ???

I'm pretty sure the whole, "The Stormlight Archive comes first" idea came about because of something Peter said about Ati and Leras being in it.  He later said that this was a mistake, but people didn't seem to notice.

Simply put, he plans to write more in the Mistborn world.  The other two metals (and their alloys) are already common knowledge among his fanbase.  Heck, even Wikpedia has an article on Allomancy, including these mystery metals.  Many years from now ( he's got a lot of other things to write first) he's planning on writing a second trilogy.  In fact there may be a thread about that somewhere... *coughonthefrontpageoftheforumslikeseriouslyrighttherecough*

If you go to Brandon's blog, Scribbler is one of the categories.  Click on this, and it will pull up a list of every time he mentioned Scribbler in a blog post.  You should be able to find the first three chapters.

Presumably, those are the bodies of Ati and Leras from before they bonded with the shards.  Just like Vin, who apparently had no body when bonded with Preservation, had her body restored and dropped onto the battlefield.
