I'm taking bets on who's going to win.  3:1 odds on the weird guy.

On a nano related note, is anyone else excited that createspace is doing the same deal as last year?

Totally!  I'm just a little worried.  Any reason why we shouldn't accept that?  Would it cause problems if we decided to send our novel elsewhere to get published?  I know they do a PoD type of thing, so I was worried that by sending them our novel, they would get some rights about future publishing.

Obviously, I haven't read the site yet, but those are the worries that first pop in my head.

"Oh, boy, boys... Girls!"
"Uhh, what about them?"
"Nothing really. I just like to say the word. Giiiiirls."

Girls... fun to say.. fun to look at... fun all around.

Boys.  Not so much fun to look at* or say.  I feel bad for the girls.

*Obvious exceptions apply.

I already have the world and story planned.  I've been planning it for a while... just waiting for next month to start.

I've just heard of people who take half finished stories, and basically enter the contest at 25k or so... which is cheating!

According to the list, we have 13 people coming from Utah... and there might be more from the forums showing up.

There is a small park across the street that we can all meet up for lunch/dinner if people want to.  What are people's plans for the convention?  Any plans to hang out after the con?

Yay! Another girl. Not that I have any problem with the boys, but I always get excited for the girls because I write somewhat girly stuff (quirky fairy tale junk).

Hey, I like girls too!  *drools*  ahem.. er..  wait... Welcome!  Can't wait to read your work.

I have a story, but in spirit of NaNoWriMo I'm going to start a brand new one and see if I can make the deadline.  Lets hope!

Either way, I'm definitely participating.

Mazrim Taim and the Black Tower gains instant online popularity for creating a webservice that, for a small fee, will have an asha'man cast a spell and stab someone in the face through the internet.  Trolls have finally met their match!

I would love to be able to sing... period...

I can do the rock band thing, but I don't think it really counts.

I think I saw a preview for that at the theater... it looked pretty good.
