**Spoilers**

Galad and the First of Mayene fall in love. Gawyn Marries Egwene. Elaida Dies, The Dark One's prison is perfectly sealed, and, oh yeah, RAND DIES! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA.

(It must be true, we wants it to happen)
(also, i remember a poem about Rand written by the late Robert Jordan and posted after his death on his blog by his wife.

He came like the wind/ (something about like the wind moved the world or changed it irrevocable (quote please?))/ And then, like the wind was gone.)

also, Nyneave remains hot tempered and awesome, Noal is revealed as Jain Farstrider, Mat and Noal rescue Moiraine From Finnland (I start to dislike the series ever so slightly as a direct result), and Mat loses an eye.

What did i miss, and what are your theories?

Also, am I a terrible person?

oh, ok. there was still another name, his real name, which wasn't in the books. That's what I'm looking for.

I know I've seen it before, his last name is Lestibournes, he was named after his father. I think it started with a J.

In any case, I can't find it right now.

For some reason, that irks me.

oops... the horse. Ok. I'm ok with that.

Oh, it's okay. I just wasn't expecting it....It's always been hard for me to resist bashing Twilight when it comes up, and it's just grown all the worse as of late. I'm not sure why. My hatred of it apparently continues to grow as more time passes. Odd, that.

I find the same thing. I initially loved the books, but the more I think about it, the more I realized that so much more could have been done easily. /sigh

Ok, no more of that for me.

In any case, coinshots are just too fast for Elantrians to handle. Mistborn wins.

Absolutely Terrible. Just like all the other WoT books. This makes the series look bad- Worse even than previous covers.

Terrible. T-R-B-L Terrible.

I'm pretty sure that cover deserves an Attack of the Show Style EPIC FAIL!

Ugh, Bella FTL because she never went blood sucking vampiress a.k.a. awesome. BOOOO!

Stephanie Meyer makes my angry.

She had everything set up for a perfect and deadly battle several times throughout the series, but wimped out every single time.

She can't do her characters justice if she saves them through the flimsiest excuse possible every time. ERGH! I refuse to read any other books she writes.

wow, didn't see that coming.

ok, my take:

Round 1:

Raoden starts to draw an Aon, when he receives a boxing through the head. Vin's just too fast. he dies.

Round 2:

Kelsier wouldn't stand a chance if Dilaf got close to him, but hey, Kelsier shoots coins as fast as bullets and can practically fly. Dilaf dies whining.

Round 3:

When i made the post i pictured them both in their final forms in the books, trying to make it a fair fight, but the powers of ruin and preservation are too powerful to add to Sazed. therefore, Susebron wins by overwhelming awakenings

Round 4:

Vasher draws Nightblood. TLR uses his Iron/Steel Savantness along with Duralumin and cadmium and slows down time. While shooting a coin through Vasher's head. Sorry Vasher, as much as I like you, Allomancy is too BA for you.

Round 5:

This is gonna be a close one because Vivena seems to be able to awaken nearly intuitively. Spook is however, awesome.
I'd say Vivena, but only because she awakens his blindfold and he gets temprorarily blinded when it comes off.

Round 6:

Marsh. Duh.

Round 7:

Vin vs. Kelsier.
Unfortunately for Kelsier, he doesn't know about Duralumin. That's the deciding factor in this battle. GO VIN!

Round 8:

Susebron vs. TLR.
Sorry, Suse. Time sliding and feruchemy fueled strength, speed and healing along with metal-pushing? TLR FTW.

Round 9:

Vivena vs. Marsh.
Marsh. Duh.

Round 10:

Vin vs. TLR.
I believe this was already played out.  TLR should whip her without blinking, but he just doesn't seem to care to. She mist-pushes his atium bracelets and he dies. Poor TLR.

Round 11:

Marsh vs. Vin.
Marsh. Duh. j/k. Vin wins with Duralumin and Zinc.

yeah, Lightsong has to be either NPH or Nathan Fillion. Otherwise the world will end.
I think NPH can play the part better, but i think Nathan Fillion could look and play the part.
I'm ok with Natalie Portman as Siri.

I think Nightblood should be voiced by Elijah Woods, not because his voice is creepy enough, but because he can do the voice calmly and lightly, especially when he's saying something creepy, thus making the voice EXTRA-creepy.

Salma Hayek would make a perfect Blushweaver.

Sean Dean as Bluefingers.

James Franco as Susebron.

I'm gonna say that Sazed-God comes in and wipes them all out for fighting. then nightblood comes along and destroys the entire world.

Spook wins.

Vin- Kiera Knightly or Kristen Stewart... only because I always pictured Vin to look a little like her.
Kelsier- Nathan Fillion
Breeze- Russel Crowe
Ham- Daniel Craig
Clubs- Sir Ian Mckellen
Spook- Freddie Highmore
Dox- Paul Giammati
Marsh- Matt Damon
Sazed- Morgan Freeman
TLR- Stewart Townsend
Camon- Paul Bettany
Reen- Rupert Grint

whatchu sink?

On the topic of bullet-pushing, as long as a Coinshot or Mistborn noticed in time, it shouldn't be any problem to deflect a bullet. Unless the bullet was aimed directly at the chest (where the steelpush originates) a simple push should suffice to deflect the bullet away from the body. As for pewter, I think the best example is when Vin spars with Hammond, adn when Kelsier and Vin run on Pewter Flare for a day straight.

Am I mistaken?

Nathon Fillion would be perfect for Lightsong.

I kinda want Kiera Knightly for Vivena, and Daniel Craig for Vasher.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: How did you find out about Brandon Sanderson?
« on: June 19, 2009, 06:03:37 PM »
I heard he was going to finish the Wheel of Time and decided I needed to know whether he was good enough to pick up after Robert Jordan. I read Elantris and enjoyed it enough to look up the Mistborn Series. <Insert the best praise possible here.>
Best series I have ever read. I loved the political complexities, the story moved quickly, the magic was amazing, etc, etc. And then I came to the end. Perfect. I love an author who is true to the story and will kill off characters when it becomes necessary, even when they have grown attached.

I have introduced as many people as i can lend the books to to him. <--- commence with gramar mocking.

I'm looking forward to everything he will ever put out.
