JK Rowling did an interview with NBC. It DOES have some spoilers for those who have NOT read the book. It's great for those who have, including saying what Ron, Harry, and Hermione are doing for a living. It can be found here for anyone interested

Books / Re: What are you reading, part 3

I'm reading The lord of the rings By: j.r.r. Tolkian
and the instrimintalities of the nightBy: Glenn Cook. Its okay but i wouldn't suggest it if you haven't read any of his books try the black company or the dread empire first.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Elantris vs. Mistborn *Spoilers*

The biggest problem is we don't FULLY know the abilities of an Elantrian, because nothing really happened until the end of the book. Plus they like never die because they can heal themselves and heal at a rapid rate anyway.
I agree however having said that i think that a Mistborn and battle trained Furechemist could kill the Elantrian and Dakor monk because i believe the Furechemist would quickly defeat the monk and double team the Elantrian.

No i think he was a good man who did the best he could with what he had. i strongly doubt ruin a force of evil influenced him, though his methods where brutal he did what he could for his people.

Brandon Sanderson / Which is better/ who would win
« on: May 25, 2009, 03:31:12 AM »
I was wondering if a Mistborn, Elantrian, and an Awakener got into a fight who would win. Personally I think the Mistborn or Awakener don't know which though.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: **SPOILERS! The Shards of Adonalsium
« on: April 05, 2009, 07:17:21 PM »
i think that brandon won't limit himself to 16 shards. i mean on one planet there are two shards. each shard probabaly has slivers of itself. and who ever metioned that the way of kings will have ten different shards and magic systems, i think there will be 2-5 magic systems in the entire series and 1-4 shards.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: what the metals do in feruchemy and hemalurgy
« on: April 05, 2009, 06:57:38 PM »
Ahh. Well the Lord Ruler was experimenting for nearly a millenia trying to create new hemalurgical beings with no success beyond the Inquisitors, koloss, and kandra, the latter of which he created when he held the power at the Well of Ascension. I would imagine that each animal would have its own bind points, so you could not just put an Inquisitor's spikes into a horse.
thats a good idea i think that an animal givan a hemalurgical spike would get two things 1) sentience, they would be intleigent. and 2) they would get a "blessing" of the metal there givin, ( i.e. strength, speed, weight, ext.)

Brandon Sanderson / what the metals do in feruchemy and hemalurgy
« on: March 07, 2009, 07:52:50 PM »
here is a spot to speculate on what the metals   nicrosil, chromium, caddidium, ceroben, duraluminum, aluminum, do in hemalugy and feruchemy.

if any one knows where another discussion is for this please tell me.
