i can't stand libraries! the one by me doesn't get books until 2-3 years after they come out... no new releases

Writing is all about execution, and I find applying some basic laws of physics to magic systems make them more understandable and realistic. Here, I'm going to outline my basic method for developing a magic system.

I just finished the Children of Hurin. and am now reading The Return of the King and The Silmarillion all by jrr tolkien ( Children of Hurin and The Silmarillion where edited by christopher tolkien). and the Tyranny of the Night by glenn cook.

I don't think that there will be any Temporal Feruchemical powers; that seems like it would be out of place. I also don't think that there will be any metal that allows Feruchemical stores to be shared or transferred or other such things that I read in another thread.
I do, however, have a speculation for one of the metals... now I just need a name:

The same thing happened in the well of ascension. i don't remember the exact quote ( its been a while since i read it ) but vin asks clubs the try to feel the well. in book one and the rest of book two clubs is a smoker not a seeker i.e. he can hide allomatical pulses not find them
