You also have to take into account how the Rays have been winning against other teams. Not only do they sit idly for 9 innings against the BoSox, but they also tend to do it with teams that aren't as good. So you do have me there. Though, don't forget that last loss. 10-3. So yeah, the Rays won 4 out of 6, both games they lost they lost early on and the games that were even remotely close into the 8-9th innings were won. So I agree with you on that, this series will be a great one to watch with no clear winner until the games have been played.

That being said. Tampa will have home advantage and that does play into it. Boston has shown all year that they're not that good in the Trop, besides the one blowout and the very close game earlier in the year (I think... it could be that the BoSox blowout earlier this week is their only win all year in the Trop.)

That is if Tampa wins a game here against the Twins. Oh, and BJ Upton will be back. He's a pretty big factor when it comes to the Rays. How it's looking right now, the Rays will be near 100% when it comes to October, and that just means they're going to be getting better.

On another note, somewhat related, I hope LAA loses in the first round. Horribly. Like, they get completely shut out for 3 games, with the other team blowing them out of the water.

If my stats are wrong, I blame my bad tasting coffee and that I've only just woken up.

I'm not entirely sure if this has been linked, but if it has it's worth a re-watch.

Dr. Horrible. My favorite musical.

The Matrix's ending was amazing (the first one, not the other two after it).

Though V for Vendetta is one of my favorite movies of all time so I'd probably vote for the scene with the "knives and fancy karate gimmicks".

Video Games / Re: My Game Review: Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Xbox 360)

Personally, I absolutely loved playing through the Dark Brotherhood story-line and to a lesser extent I enjoyed the Thieves Guild. Getting missions to steal or kill someone, gave such a sense of excitement that I didn't realize I'd played for nearly a day straight without stops. It was my first next gen console experience, so exploring Cyrodiil was breath-taking for me, creeping through dungeons, not knowing what's around the corner, was exciting. While the game-play was clunky at times, and I personally found the dialogue system monotonous after fifteen hours, there was a lot stuffed onto that disc; well worth the money for me. So I completely agree with this review of Oblivion.

Now they're (Bethesda) is about to release Fallout 3, which looks like it's going to be even more beautiful than Oblivion, with game play that looks less clunky! Not to mention it's set into an apocalyptic wasteland, where radiation is an enemy you counterbalance as you make your way through the land.

IGN has it slated for a December 31 release, thought further up the page it says "Release Date: TBA 2008".

So I'd expect it in 2008, probably November-December.  :-\

If this last series, and the series before last are any indication, the Rays possess the ability to beat the BoSox easily. Granted, we've had a pretty rough month so far, but hey. Even with a rough September we're still 1 1/2 games up. :)

Though today's loss to Min hurts. :( Not used to watching the Bullpen giving up runs like that.

I love Rock Band 1-2. My band is the Breadstick Whiplash (Name might be changing, I forget if it was taken on Xbox LIVE or not), and we're already in the Rolling Stones thingy... that Endless Set list is looking menacing right now. :( If you see Silenced Parrot on LIVE, that's me. :)

Megaman X was the only Megaman I've beaten, because it was so cool... I'll probably be picking MM9 up just so I can play through it and kill some time in between writing sessions.

And Fable 2 looks amazing, I can't wait to get my grubby little paws on it.

Hm, true. The lack of races is concerning.

Upon further investigation though in March-May, somewhere in there, they will be releasing a content patch with elves I believe. I'm gonna check out Shaiya though, it looks cool.  :)

Heh heh, don't get me started about the Rays. My only source of sporty-happyness this year. Should be a great playoff series.

You just never know when its your teams turn to be great.

It was 2006, when the Steelers stole it from us. /end bitterness.

But yeah, this Sunday is going to be a rather boring game to watch, but I'll watch it. At least Tampa plays someone exciting (Originally born in Tampa so I get to follow them around too.)

A new game nearing it's release in December, currently in Closed Beta but will soon be opened up to public testing I believe. Not only does it look somewhat decent as far as MMO's go, it's going to be completely free to play.

From a game play standpoint, it looks fairly solid. A mixture of WoW's controls and combat with the ideas that made FFXI unique. With fairly decent graphics and hopefully a smooth frame rate with little to no server lag, this game actually looks good, and as it gets closer to December I can't help but become a little excited about it. I just pray that it doesn't end up being like Runescape or Ragnarok.

Anyone else heard of this game, or even interested?

At least you're not a Seahawk fan.

I mean, I'm honestly beginning to doubt we'll beat the freakin' Rams! :'(

Gorgan's reason sounds like a good reason for anyone to get banned. Anyone.

I will admit, I'm fairly impressed by Utopia's use of grammar and actual sentences. Most trolls don't take the time to even spell check, so it's a good change of pace after coming off of lower-grade sites. (*Cough* World of Warcraft community forums *cough*)

Currently, I'm pouring my heart out into one piece of work. It's also my first stab at this whole "Let's write a novel" idea, and I've realized that this is what I want to be doing with my life. If anyone is curious about it, feel free to send a PM, or contacting me through AOL Instant Messenger. I should be online most of the time, because I'm always signed in while writing.

Currently, around 30k words and counting. I had no idea I had the ability to sit down and write until I pass out before starting this whole thing.  ;D

Planning on this first book to be around 150-180k (hopefully it'd become a series if I ever got it published, but I plan on writing at least two or three either way).
