HAHA! it's about Santa Barbara, no seriously it is.

Sunsets lost in
Skies of hazy greys
June gloom sets in
Puts me in a daze
Nothing changes
All we do is wait
Our heads hanging
Shaking in dismay
Cuz everyone's afraid

Looks like the end of days
But it takes so much more
For anyone to say
We need another way
But if we wanted one
We'd do it just the same

Winter's coming
Still we're soaked in sun
Summer somehow
Split us one by one
Days are darker
Than they've ever been
But who could tell when
Summer never ends
(we've capsized in our end)

Looks like the end of days
But it takes so much more
For anyone to say
We need another way
But if we wanted one
We'd do it just the same

Words don't change a thing
Sun disguises darkness
Wish that I could save you
Wish that I could stop this

Looks like the end of days
But it takes so much more
For anyone to say
We need another way
But if we wanted one
We'd do it just the same

This song is called june gloom, it's by the like.

oh I forgot to add, a lot of out of town friends visit, I go on a road trip to santa fe, I reconnect with the world outside of my head by spending time in trees when it rains.

when any form of clouds at all begin to finally cover up some of the monotonous blue here in SB, unfortunately there will be not a drop of rain until late winter...and of course never any snow...so sad...seriously I love rain and it only happens in december and january here.

Pindi, Tasha, and I are at an outdoor rersturant, Pindi is smoking a cigarette. the man next to us is showing his disaproval by fake coughing, we ignore him for the better half of fifteen minutes until he finally turns around and says to Pindi, "you know second hand smoke kills." and Pindi says "yes *blows smoke in his face* but not reliably."

Something isn't right about this... I mean how could that stingray have known his only weakness... it must have done it's homework...and of course it now has the blood of irwin on it's stinger, a modern day lance of longinus if you will.... it must be stopped before it raises an army of sushi(undead fish)

Music / Whats playin now?

I'll start.
Ballad of the thin man-Bob Dylan.
EDIT: sorry bout that,
well let's see... throughout my life my family has gone on a multitude of road trips which ussually entailed being stuffed into a suburban and later a navigator with my three sisters, one brother, and both parents for days on end. During these trips my mother was always the undisputed controller of the music. bob dylan, among others is one of the artists frequently played in the car by my mother, sop quite simply I like it because I grew up with it.

Well, last week my friend Nestor and I were severly dissatisfied with the advance filter option in excel, what with it making us re-filter our extraction table everytime we added some new data to criteria table. So we decided to write a new function, which at the moment consists of a Vlookup which contains an if/then function that is attached to a range. At the moment it looks something like this
=VLOOKUP(##:##,IF##, THEN##) but we're still tweaking it, it might need a show/hide function.
