well, lets hear it, which final fantasy is your favorite?

A lot of people describe Scalzi’s Old Man's War novels as military science fiction, but I would classify its sequel Zoë’s Tale as a space opera. It’s a story about, well, Zoë, a teenage girl whose parents are invited to take leadership roles in building a colony on a new planet. Zoë is an enthusiastic member of the group sent to colonize Roanoke, despite the risks—and the risks are considerable even before the political machinations of greater powers boil to the surface. this post was inspired by the stuffed mushroom post, while reading it I noticed a few people here are skilled in the kitchen and have some interesting recipes, so please come share your recipes!, I'll go first.
take two skinless and boneless chicken breast(preferably lean) slice them into medium sized strips and sautee them in butter and a tiny bit of olive oil, next take five large portabello mushrooms and cut them into centimeter thick strips, and add them into the skillet, now add in about as much balsamic vinegar as you used butter(or to taste) sautee until mushrooms are soft and dark in colour(from vinegar) and chicken is golden brown, then seerve in own juices and season with terragon.

Welcome to my giant robot week zoe giant robot galery!
This is just a little history and storyline of the two games.
When Zone of the Enders was first released, it gained an almost immediate fan base. This is helped in no small part by the inclusion of a Metal Gear Solid 2 demo disc, though. Solid Snake is Konami's perfect man-whore, as his name more or less implies. ZOE told the relatively simple story of Leo Stenbuck, a young boy who discovers a giant robot (known as an "Orbital Frame") when his space colony comes under attack by the mysterious BAHRAM militia. This frame, called Jehuty, is fiercely coveted by BAHRAM colonel Ridley Nohman.
    Just why, exactly, Nohman wanted Jehuty so bad that he was willing to kill for it is never fully explained. The original Zone of the Enders kept things simple. By focusing more on the characters rather than the larger situation, it had its own strange charm and fun.
    Zone of the Enders 2: The 2nd Runner takes place sometime shortly after the events of the first game. Players take control of metatron miner Dingo (don't ask) Egert as he stumbles upon Jehuty. It seems that the Frame was hidden shortly after Leo went to all the trouble of saving it. Fortunately, Dingo takes control of it just in time to fight off Nohman and his new team of villainous goons.
    If the original game was simple and sweet, the sequel is complex and deep. Just by skimming through the instruction manual, one can easily tell that the developers set out to blow the top off the ZOE world in a big way. The 2nd Runner has murder, betrayal, romance, and even a few resurrections. Fans will be more than pleased to discover the motives of Nohman, the formation of BAHRAM, and the history of the protagonist, Dingo.
Here are  some pictures of the characters and their respective orbital frames(giant robots) from zone of the enders 2, as i find more pics I will add them, and possibly some story information and articles... Enjoy!

Rants and Stuff / is community service really nesassary?

I'm not sure if this applies to everybody but in my school students need to complete a total of 60 hours of community service to graduate. And i wanted to know if anybody had any thoughts on the matter as to wether it is really nesassary or not, please tell me what you think.

Video Games / need advice for Z.O.E.2

does anyone have any idea how to defeat naked jehuty? I mean I've always fancied myself as the |337 master at this game seeing as I'm undefeated and have beaten the game with all for versions on every difficulty in under 2 and a half hours each but i cant beat naked jehuty cuz he kills me in one hit. does anyone have a solution?

has anyone ever had a dream that when you wake up you think "hmmm that was either endlessly deep and meaningful and will take the rest of my life to comprehend or incredibly stupid and pointless"? because i jaust had this five hout dream, there was this moose with a duck tied to it's head, and iot just kept running into this white wall... i mean it was really funny but it kinda lost it's novelty after the third hour...
