Caxiao means "coffin" in Portuguese, at least as spoken in Brazil.

It also more generally means "container," so it's a bit more like the English word "casket."  I imagine linguistic drift and merge giving us this word for the tiny, bed-only hotel rooms like they have in Tokyo.

RSS, website, iPhone, iPad, and Photoshop. Oh, and sometimes I re-read it from the original Word documents.

Truth be told, some authors DO look down their noses at my work. But that's because there is always nose-downy-looksy going on for any particular work -- authors tend to be an opinionated bunch.

I'm sure Mike offered no offense with his subject line, and I've certainly not taken any. I appreciate those who have risen to my defense nonetheless. It's nice to have people standing next to me as we gaze up at the stars and into the nostrils of our anonymous-yet-opinionated betters.

I have not, but I keep meaning to. I'm familiar with the term "Singularity" as it applies to socio-technological prognostication, though.

I'm not allowed to vote. The other characters would get jealous...

I'm going to kill a cow AND a pig, thank you. Where's that option? I want bacon-wrapped tenderloin next to my eggs.

Epic space opera, told four panels at a time.

There's the pitch. :-)

I'm glad you're enjoying it. This piece needed to be foreshadowed for 'Chelle's arrival to seem more heroic, and to build tension.

As should be clear now (as of this writing, at any rate) both Legs and 'Chelle live. Yay!

Omniouss?

(Okay, it's a stretch.)
