Chaos, you're theory is very interesting indeed. The answer, surprisingly, is contained in the first two books. I have a question for you.
Is it Ruin and Preservation that change and affect the world, or the people that live in the world?

As for who is writing the bumps. I would suggest looking at the sentence structure and the style. Does it sound like Alendi, Rashek, TLR after taking the power, or someone else who has some knowledge of Ruin and Preservation. Think.

It's so frustrating to know the answers but not be able to say anything. Some of you guys are way off and others are right on the mark. You get a lot of answers only twenty pages after the sample chapter with Elend/Vin. One word to describe this book, WOW!!!

Sweet. By about this time tomorrow, I'll finally be able to imitate Ookla and know the answers to all the questions! Ha Ha Ha!

Just a question. Did the release date change cause I got my copy today in the mail. I had pre-ordered a copy two weeks ago from Chapters, a national bookstore in Canada.

Buy or Sell?
If you have a full stomach, your Allomancy gets weaker.

Buy, That's a great idea. Maybe that's the real reason behind Vin defeating TLR, he had eaten a supper,  Vin didn't.

Buy or Sell

If vin wore steel toed boots, would it work to push and pull on?

Buy

that would be so weird that all of their powers are just from mercury poisoning and all three magic systems disappear if they take medicine

Buy or Sell

The darkness and ash falling everywhere isn't from volcanoes, but from a Nuclear holocost

Coma your theory makes a lot of sense.

I think though that the metal that Elend ate would have to grant a lot of power, not just Allomancy. The metals so far seem to be balanced in what power they give. Sometimes the power is more useful in a general sense but they are balanced.

For this theory to make sense for me, elend would need to get as much power as Vin, or maybe the Lord Ruler. I mean the sixteenth metal traps a God! We didn't see any evidence of that in the second book yet that Elend is as powerful as TLR, but maybe he just didn't realize that he can use like Feruchemy and Hemalurgy yet.

Buy or Sell

Reen's obsidian kills Vin at the end of HoA

Buy - What a twist!!! Her only keepsake from her childhood and it kills her

Buy or Sell

A the end of MB3, when the Ash is gone and the sun comes out, everybody gets really bad sunburn and die from skin cancer.

[Buy or Sell?
There is a non-hereditary way to acquire Feruchemy.

Buy - The potion that Elend swallows might carry all three magic systems.

Buy or Sell?

Ruin and Preservation are really just the Lord Ruler and Kelsier that will be ressurected?

Maybe the metals in the wells are like super metals, able to give you incredible powers. Maybe the more you ingest the stronger you are.

I think both are equally good book.

However I prefer MB1 because it has more action. The story in Warbreaker is interesting and I was hooked on the story quickly but Warbreaker is a more traditional Fantasy book. I like that MB1 is different. It combines many different thing together. Anyways, Warbreaker is still being reviewed and edited, I think so it will continue to improve until it is released, so maybe when I buy the book I may like the changes that are made and change my opinion

I don't agree that its because of Hemalurgy that Vin pierces the copper cloud. She is just a lot stronger the any other Mistborn we have seen. She killed a Mistborn with about a year's experience. That was the Mistborn that was after Elend. That Mistborn had Atium.
Kelsier was barely able to disable the Steel Inquisitor to get into TLR centre room. Vin stopped a couple of them to get in. She seems almost able to rival with them in the first book.

She killed Zane who was burning Atium.

Brandon states that TLR gets his pwer from a different source than Vin. I don't think he is just talking about Feruchemy, that would be too obvious. I think Vin is somehow more connected to the mists. I think her ability to pierce copper clouds is her power.

It seems to me that Brandon created the three magic systems to be able to react together in the same world, compliment each other. Hemalurgy has its own power, but it also grants a person Allomantic powers. Steel inquisitors see trace metals and Brandon says that any Allomancer can learn to do the same. This hints at an Allomantic power not a separate Hemalurgic power. that only Hemalurgist's can do.
