Yes, but the movie and book had nothing to do with each other.  Not that I'm disagreeing with you, I own both and have watched/read each more times that I can count (or would admit).  I'm just saying that the two really had nothing to do with each other on the whole.  I'm wondering how she feels about what they did to her story, and if that would influence her decision to let them make more of her stories into movies.

Ah, now that's going to be much easier to lend out to my friends - and then I won't have to listen to them rant about how the cover didn't match the story.

Although I agree with Phaz, I really wish they didn't put $4.99 all over the cover and side - sorta takes away the coolness of it all.

Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man.  First person pov that should NEVER be used.  I actually read through the sex scene and never even registered what was happening till everyone started talking about it the next day at class.

Also (please don't hit me) The Once and Future King.  The thought of all those soon-to-be knights tying a little girl up to a tree to lure a unicorn so they could kill it . . . ugh, not my favorite part.

I'd add Wizard of Earthsea, but I haven't been able to get past the first part of the story the last four times I started it.

Oh dear. . . I thought that site was just a joke, but then I clicked on some of the threads.  The "Books not to read" emphasize that Robert Jordon obviously got his inspiration from Goodkind.  And the review of FF12 in Everything Else almost made me laugh, but kind of scared me at the same time.

Hmm, I'm using the same as Ben, and it seems every 5th page or so I have to scroll down under the left sidebar to see what's on the page - including the cover art you just linked to on your post.  (Which, incidently, looks really cool seeing them all there on one page.)

Kelly's insane and called them cause she says we took her clohes.  I don't know what she did with them, but it's a really stressful time right now.  She won't let any of us pay for them, she wants to see someone charged.

And no, none of us took her clothes.  None of us want anything to do with her now.

I hate my roommate. 
She is trying to ruin our lives.  Not in the "make us miserable while we're here" way, but in the "I've called the police and they can get you in trouble" way.  She must love having this much control over all of us cause we're all freaking out - and she doesn't care.

I watched the first season religiously, watched the second season whenever I could find time for it, and briefly thought about watching the third - but decided it wasn't worth it.  It lost my attention pretty quickly there in the second, but I still know people who really love it.

As for me now, I am like dan, not really interested to know if they make if off the island or not.

You have to be careful, though.  Shows like Heroes have a TON of flashbacks.  So just cause you see a character in the commercial doesn't necessarily mean they're alive.

(Please also note, I haven't seen the commercials yet, so no shouting at me if they are obviously alive for the next season)  :-X
