Brandon Sanderson / Re: Buy report

I bought mine through Amazon.com, and I'm glad I did. I was looking through the B&N in Downtown Seattle, and I didn't see it.
Max is a Shadowblade, a supernatural--and supernaturally competent--warrior bound to protect her witch Giselle. As a Shadowblade, Max doesn't age. She is better, faster, stronger than any ordinary human being. And she hates it. Giselle betrayed her trust to make Max what she is, and though she is magically compelled to protect Giselle and follow orders, Max works against her witch in every way she can. Sadly, not even one mention of bacon. Otherwise a pretty entertaining story.
Are you joking or did you miss it?QuoteQ. Cities won’t really try to collect from the super being that saved their bacon, would they?
Korda is making his own cover. Not the official cover. VegasDev's joke was funny though.
I hope you enjoy WoT! It's a very good series. It gets incredibly intricate later on. Also, just as sort of a note, I personally, and everyone I've known who has read the series, has said that the first book is very slow. I almost stopped reading it after the first book because of how slow it was (there was actually about 3 years between me reading the first and second books, after that I just started devouring them), but I really recommend trudging through it if you find it too slow, (if you don't, well then ignore that) as it picks up and starts getting really good come the second book.
Why are people going to buy the book if they already read the earlier version for free? I mean the plot is basically like the same, right? I mean who reads the same book twice?
Sigh...
Maybe, UtopiaGreen01, it would better for you to think before you start a topic so you don't get your head ripped off. Right now as I am reading this, it is taking a lot of self-restraint to not go berserk on these idiotic topics of yours.
I mean, come on. Brandon will not be giving away free books. Wasn't that... obvious? Now, I looked at a recent blog post of his, and he stated that he would do something for fans who live far away (who can't get to the Hero of Ages release party) to get a signed/numbered copy... but obviously they wouldn't be free. Who do think Brandon is, Bill Gates? Shipping alone, man...
Wow, dude. You hurt my brain.
I've read some reviews lately saying that you can not get nearly the advertised amount of books on this devise. Is that true so far to your knowledge?
