Ok.. unlimited unit grabs.. FINALLY Blizzard took one from C&C's book.

Do you have any idea how annoying it was to make 10 unit groups of zerglings just to run them into a base behind some ultras and hydras?

I hated that.

I just beat the campaign last night.

I really enjoyed that it follows only one storyline. Similar to what War3 and Starcraft have done versus War2 or Tib. Sun.

They leave absolutely no question that there will be an expansion or at least a sequel.

It was more fun than I thought initially as well.

Hopefully they add some super units for the Nod and GDI this go around. (like your commando and true mammoth tanks)  :)

Nope! You are good. Since you only replaced one word (same word can be replaced multiple times).

Dr. Evazan (Ok... I knew the quote.. but I had to look up who.  )   :-[

"Don't worry, Chewie and I have gotten into a lot of pants more heavily guarded than this!"

I saw this on another thread. And promptly stole the idea. Because I wanted to see we can come up with on this site.

So, it works like this, you take a quote from the holy trilogy, or the other 3 Star Wars movies and exchange one word (only one) with pants. Then the next person must say who was the original quotee and from which movie.

"Slimy? Mudhole!? My pants this is!!!"

Yeah, they showed that. They had a lot of stuff on The Island, like a Xbox you use with your whole body.
Not a very good movie.

Could be. Especially easy if they did as they said, cut and paste the old units basically and throw in a few new tricks.

But, I never give Blizzard benefit of the the doubt when it comes to release dates. Although, I prefer that to the typical EA strategy, throw as many games at the wall as physically possible and hope a few of em stick, maybe even create a version 1.2 for some of em and of course a pricey expansion, but nothing else.

Yes!!!
I am glad there are no plans for MMO.

Also, looks like they are making the best part about starcraft better. Supposed to have massive army capabilities.

one of my favorite things to do with Zerg is get huge huge swarms.

Noticed the Xel Naga supposed to be a big part. I wonder if it is what they did with the Demon Race. Was supposed to be playable, but in order to balance the game, they had to make them only in the single campaign.

Obviously the hybrid will be super powerful, you couldn't balance them really since it is all the good things about Zerg and Protoss together.

I am just excited.  But... since it is Blizzard, probably have to wait 2 years before it comes out.

Seattle? I am going there for the first time this summer, then for a drive along the Pacific coast highway in a long run home. I am kinda excited for that.

I am also going to Chicago this week and Moab next week.

I never get to stay put.

Well, just because of my younger brother, I would have to say Guilty Gear X2 I have hours logged in the hundreds and hundreds on that game. Then, Xenosaga (just the first, haven't done the 3rd yet.. I was very disappointed with the 2nd), FFX (Conquered, even beat Nemesis... OoooOOooohh), and Star Ocean: Till the end of time.

Also,  Dance Dance Revolution. I am a dork about that.

Otherwise it is just a lot of strategy games on the computer.. My all time favorites, bar none, doesn't matter anything else. I will take a strategy over it.

You can also play as NOD, simply take control of their main building, it will give you a feel for it if nothing else.

And don't discredit the hulking Avatar walker, you can use it to "eat" any other unit and gain that units abilities in addition to its main beam cannon.

EA is saving the Scrin for the game, you can find nothing on them anywhere at this point but a few teasers.

However, the game was made to not be a teching war. C&C 3 is set up to be over in less than 15 minutes of play. Which is kind of refreshing in a lot of ways if you want to just play a quick one, you can do so, without having to set aside a whole hour. And if you want to tech and have a long battle, that ability is there as well.

I prefer the 1 superweapon and long time limit. It basically ends the game now, as it would in real life.  So, unlike in generals where you could have one out in 3 minutes and a full base defense, and nuke someone 5 times and still not kill them.....it doesn't work that way anymore. I loved generals though.. one of the few I suppose.

;) FWIW
