We will hopefully see the end of Alcatraz's story in the future, but it won't be soon.

Wait, are you saying that the forth is not going to wrap up like a normal ending book?  ???

I feel kinda bad about posting this since I haven't been on in months, due to lack of father being home and computer as slow as ever, but I needed answer of somesort to this question.

On Amazon I found this and it made my stomach flop. Is this really true?

"Editorial Reviews
Product Description
The fourth and final book in the fabulously funny Alcatraz Smedry series!

Alcatraz Smedry is on a mission to save the day! In his final adventure in the series by bestselling adult fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson, Alcatraz has a lot to prove and, as always, little time in which to do it!"

If this has already been posted and answered, I apologize.

Unfortunately Bastille would be my second choice to go... :( It's just that Alcatraz and Bastille are starting to like each other...

Bastille! You're back!

And it makes a lot of sense that Grandpa Smedry is the one who is killed. Unfortunately.

Thanks! Been busy babysitting siblings will dad's gone in Germany. Not much time anymore between swimming, family and school! hahaha!

Grandpa Smedry, if it had to be anyone, would have to go. He's like what over 100. Also it would be a big blow to the characters which would be a challenge.

The other post was just me thinking.

Personally from what I gathered during the epilog in the second book I think he kills himself. Or well a part of himself. In it he explains that the young him was getting replaced peice by peice (like the ship of thesus) until there was nothing left of the original. He is now a copy...a fake.

I don't know... :-\

**spoilers as well**

The book was amzing, as usual. I though had trouble reading chapter 14. One of my favorite parts had to be when Al and his mother see each other. Also when he see's her lying about him, that I thought was cool. The one problem I have is I can't imagine Shasta acting as she is to write the letter that she left at the end of book 2. Even worse I can't imagine Attica wrting the note he left on the packege in book 1. He acted through out the book like he didn't care what was going on with the war..that bugged me.

I personally had a choice between Al Vs EL or Warbreaker. Alcatraz won in the end. Mistborn: Final Empire was in there but I agree with Recovering_Cynic that after Kell left something was lost.

That's so cute! I don't think my dog would have let us put anything on his head.

Having never read Alcatraz, I assumed that Bastille was a reference to the place. As in Bastille Day. Then I read all of these strange things not quite referencing either the place or the user, and realized that something fishy was going on. The spoiler thread gave you away.

My cover is blown!!

I didn't make up my name. It was given to me. One of my friends who was a BS fan long before I was, made this account for me. He knew I was an Alcatraz fanatic so that's were my name came from. My full username though is BastilleVianitelle but I shortened it.
