Its like if Battlestar Galactica and mystery science theater 3000 had a baby and then that baby hooked up with a pile of green goo.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: RE Entertainment signs deal with EA

well even though EA is more of a money maker then a quality game maker at least it has the resources to make it into a better game then a tiny corporation like red eagle. Maybe if  it does a good job EA will look into Mistborn.

That was a really great story. I could see that become a full length book if Brandon wasn't already swamped. I do hope that he does venture into Sci-Fi in the future. All the short stories he has written so far are really great.

Brandon Sanderson / Re: Best Mistborn Fight Scene *SPOILERS*
« on: November 06, 2008, 03:17:22 AM »
I really liked the tin savant spook fight scenes. How he could tell when an attack was coming because the he could hear the air moving, that's just cool. And Pre misborn Elend taking on a koloss. Those are just my favorites but the best fight scene i would have to say is kel vs. Inquisitors. Just because at the time he was fighting and winning against something that people had thought were as invincible and powerful as the lord ruler. That fight IMO was what pushed every one over the edge to finally realize they could revolt.

Movies and TV / Re: Sword of Truth trailer

I just finished watching the first 2 episodes online. I thought it was alright. As a on screen adaptation of the books they are not that good but as a fantasy show it was better then I thought. I was kind of a fan of the books but they weren't  my favorites. I can see that the stuff they cut out was important to the book but to catch the average viewer none of that stuff was necessary. Ill have to say that I liked it and i look forward to watching the whole series to see where they take it.

Its 12:35 in the morning and after 4 days I finally finished it.Wow.Its just... WOW. Now i have to take another 4 days to get through the spoilers thread since it seems to be growing rather fast.

Again, Best book  ever and the greatest ending possible.
Thank you Brandon Sanderson!

Heck, might as well team up with Flintstone vitamins. Get your daily Mistborn value of Iron, Zinc and Copper.

The Mistborn diet is all the rage. Nothing sheds the pounds away better then flecks of metal shavings in your water.

I reserved mine from the local Borders and when I went there today they told me that they had just ordered them so they would arrive Thursday. Checked online and all the borders within 25 miles of me had done the same thing. Now i have to wait till Thursday to even start reading it .Just my luck that when everyone is getting theirs early I get mine late

Long ago for reasons even I don't know after reading the first chapter in any book I would always jump and read the last paragraph. Its not reading the  whole last chapter so I don't know all that happens but it gives me a glimpse of how the story ends up.
And for the people that don't understand why some people like to read the ending first I like to compare it to really good history films. Every one already knows what happens in the end but people can still enjoy it a lot.

I thought it was obvious. What metal can mutate you to control metals after digesting. Uranium  ;D
If a radioactive spider can give powers why not a radioactive pebble.
But seriously if some one wants to spend the time trying to figure it out i did find this

Ive got a question about inquisitors. Do they age? In the books it said there are only a few of them at a time before TLR died but they were looking for more obligators that were mistings like marsh. If they  do age is  there some kind of retirement home for old inquisitors or do they maybe throw themselves into a volcano when they get to old.
