Not nearly as creative as you guys are, but one we used to do on our summer college interns:

Take a screen grab of their desktop
Remove all icons and hide the taskbar
Set the grab as the desktop wallpaper
Frustration ensues

Back from the dead due to DVD release yesterday :)

Even though it's a "Collector's Edition" it fells kinda light. I've been told Wal-Mart's version is packed with an extra disc with some kind of documentary on it.
The menus definatley fit in theme-wise but they're nothing too exciting. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the Star Wars dvd menus.
Has 2 deleted scenes which were not very interesting, IMO. And one of them was unfinished blue screen and animatics.
The behind the scenes/making of documentary stuff is great, but I'm a geek like that and will usually eat that up. It's interesting to see how they went from a 6 minute short (included on dvd) to getting top name actors and a budget.
And fyi: it does come in wide and full screen formats, so check it before you get it.

Seeing it again makes me sad that it didn't do so well in the theatres. I was really hoping this was going to kickstart a new generation of (good) pulp inspired movies.

I have heard that Blackheart will be the villian for the flick.

One of my favorite things to do was amass as many vehicles in as small a space as possible and start a chain reaction of exploding vehicles. Any cruisers that happened to be nearby were an added bonus  ;D

Also:

Gov. Matt Blunt (MO) banned video games from the state's prisons Monday, a month after a newspaper reported some of Missouri's most violent inmates were allowed to play games simulating murders, carjackings and the killings of police officers.

Yes she was good in that...and I did watch it. Probably my 2nd favorite one of those movies, right after Big.

Last year's winner did a performance of Summertime, from Porgy and Bess, that blew my socks off.

Ugh! For a show that says it looks for original acts, Fantasia sounds way too much like Macy Gray to me. And I can't stand Macy, I just do not like that grating voice.

The official trailer is also up now. I have to say from the split second of viewable Doom, he doesn't look too bad.

I had to add something to the comic to movie list...

Howard the Duck (waauuuugh!)

And Garner can act when she wants to, see just about anything else she did...ok, maybe not Dude Where's My Car.
It's too bad she was injured, I was looking forward to seeing her comedic side on SNL last week.

I have seen it...more than a few times due to it running on cable. Great cast, meh movie. Not the worst film I've ever seen.

There is a 20 second clip that aired during Mtv's TRL over here. Don't know how long it will stay there...

That actually was a comic first, wasn't it?

On the 20th Anniv DVD there was a segment with concept art that was supposed to be for the sequel but I think it was mostly used for 2.0
There was going to be a comic as well based on the game but for some reason the company never published it. Probably a licensing issue.

Or maybe it's the fact that we're so traumatized by the sub-par ones that they stand out more.
