I really can't see either of them in the part.  Ellen just doesn't work and Summer is too old.

I have this really specific picture of Kelsier in my head, and RDJ is not it.

I started with Mistborn and I think it was a good place to start.  I'm a big fan of Brandon's fight scenes and magic systems, and Mistborn has the blend that really got me hooked and led me into his less action/magic heavy Elantris (not saying that there is not plenty of magic in Elantris, simply that most of the magic is passive for the majority of the book and the type of magic use I prefer to read doesn't kick in until near the end) where I could be more focused on the character and plot.  Then I read Warbreaker, which is great and a bit more involved on the magic side than Elantris.  If I could go back I would say Mistborn, then Warbreaker, then Elantris.  Though you've got to read Alcatraz in between things, cuz it's just so much dang fun!

Obviously, Paris Hilton would be Shan.
Well, that might fit, actually.  They're both spoiled, mean word-I-can't-says.

I realize it's a joke, but I literally twitch when you do that.  *shudder*

When I told him I had read it, he apologized to me because he thinks it poorly written.  I'm still looking forward to when he revisits it in the future.  Good story.

Why does he keep a copy in BYU's library if he doesn't want anybody to read it is the big question? Is it because it was his thesis or something and can't be removed? (I remember it being something like that)
Yeah, it's his thesis.

Well, Brandon doesn't really want people to read it anyway.

I love Szeth's internal conflict and his general awesomeness, but I don't know.  I really like Kaladin.

No more Hoid acronyms!  It would just be a bad idea.

I am so looking forward to this!  So much cool stuff going on and we haven't even seen the third viewpoint character yet!

The prologue with Szeth is officially my favorite of Brandon's so far.  Lashing is awesome!  Gravity control has always been intriguing to me and he's executed it so well!

Just remember friends, in the war of 1812, we Canucks burned the white house down ;).
Yeah, well, you guys invented curling, so I think we've got the better deal.

Spren=awesomeness!

There seems to be quite the variety to them, I can't wait to see just how much stuff they cover.  Now my question is, are they attracted by what they represent or formed by it?

Now, I realize we all understand this, but WOW.

Nathan Fillion doesn't work for me, like others have said, because he just doesn't look the part.  I'd imagined Kelsier as being slimmer.  Can you see him doing flips and things like he would need to?  I can't.  And I have the same problem with Brad Pitt.

Since when is Summer Glau curvaceous?  I'd always seen her as really thin.  And I think she might be too tall.  Vin is short in my mind.

What's this about procuring a server?  Doesn't a Mistborn Forum RPG imply, well, an RPG in text posts here in the forum?

I think I'm missing the joke, but what does Canada have to do with WOT?

Also, the three books every two years, 2 SLA, one other, is the information I'm working from.

Honestly, I don't have enough information about Dragonsteel to say whether or not I'd prefer that or SLA next, but SLA looks totally cool.  Also, this will be my first BS book where I'll be with you guys from day 1!  Excited!

Awesome pictures of DT are always appreciated.

I'm sure he could do the character, but I'm not sure I can see him wrecking Hazekillers with wild abandon.  It's probably the fact that he played the (technical) pacifist doctor for four years that has me off balance on that point, though.
