I talked to a guy last night who said Brandon Sanderson was at one point writing a screenplay called Debris, but it never got finished.  Anyone know anything about this?

I've never heard anything like that. I suppose it's possible but it seems unlikely, since I know which stories Brandon is interested in pitching to Hollywood and none of them fit that title.
