Hum... out of the lake, Schlock picks up the brawlers (how are they going to cure Chisulo?), meets Jud Schafter and the other amorphs somewhere, and they stage a raid on the police headquarters to pick up Timmons, dropping him into an elephant pit full of maddened bulls? Or...

Do you think Timmon will vanish into the night?

Timmons is UNS Military Intelligence. I'm betting his wrongdoing is sanctioned by his commanders, or at least, is overlooked so long as he cleans up his messes. Will he get away with it? Probably. Will Schlock get away with Lunesby? Well, that's harder to say, especially since we don't know what she knows (and therefore how hard the UNS will work to shut her up).

Curing Chisulo is probably just an injection of the proper nanotics, which the circus should have on hand for the treatment of their elephants. How will they contain him 'till then? Hmm...
