Title: The Game of Stones
Post by: Rey on January 07, 2009, 01:02:53 AM: I am putting this here because Brandon is working on finishing the last book of the series... and because it's an awesome game.

Game of Stones is a (free) text based strategy game based around The Wheel of Time series. It is a game which only takes a few minutes a day to play. Go to the link below to register on the forums, the alpha test for V2 is almost done and the official V2 comes out on the 11th.

Post by: alSeen on February 08, 2009, 11:30:24 PM: hey everyone. there is a game called the game of stones that is based on the WoT books. it is a PvP browser and is quite fun. anyone who wants to play go to gos.talij.com there are about 15 clans in the game and i lead the 2nd best :) but i would like way more people to play. if u play the game and need help just contact me, Justin alSeen, or another high level player and we will answer any questions, ect.

They required me to go online to ofter and if I forget someone just beats me up while I am offline. I didn't really like the part with the XP only being from dueling either. I guess I am a more traditional RPG player.

Post by: alSeen on February 20, 2009, 03:27:38 AM: i could never understand how to play the MUD. but i dont know. its just a game with a ton of potential. and yes it is like that werewolves and vampire games but u dont have to get on all the time. more like fallensword but without so much moving. and also if u get beat when offline u just lose gold. in any of the major clans (like mine, The Legion of the Dragon) we'll gladly lend u some gold to buy some good EQ. and also it is a lot more experimental with the EQ than other games.

Not sure if he still is, he became a dad late last year and stopped playing as much

Post by: alSeen on March 12, 2009, 02:28:11 AM: tim, the guy who makes GOS, is almost done with the newest version of the game. the testing of 'v3' (his third version of the game) is going to happen this month which means v2 will basically stop since most people will play the alpha. also tim took over making GOS games from some other guy (think his name was craig) who couldnt find the time to make them anymore. so now u know what people r talking about with the different versions :D
