it sucked.  All we did was hang around, talk and play Wii.  Nothing fun at all.

There is nothing wrong with sitting around talking and playing games.  I imagine with the book tour a moment of respite was probably a good thing.  Friends and Family is what makes for a good birthday or holiday IMHO.
