The pool works now, more or less; expect a real one soon.

Yes! I'm glad the pool is working, it's the perfect time of year for a swim.

every poll should have an option that says "I'm a dirty, dirty poll whore."

I'm not even sure what that means, but I'm guessing you saw it somewhere cool, so we should totally do it. Then we could be cool too!

so, is there a way to close the poll to stop people from voting?

I actually, sort of half came up with it. On Gaia you get gold for voting in a poll, so there are people who troll the forums looking for polls and voting but not posting a message. These people are known as poll whores. Some polls take this into account and have an option that says "I want gold" or something to the equivelant. The phrasing is one I came up with on my own.

I still can't participate in the poll, and it makes me want to cry.   >:(

Yeah, I haven't been able to participate in the poll on the front page either.

And I'm doubly offended that you had a pool party and didn't invite me.

Sorry peoples, finals weeks for me so not much time to work on TWG until sometime next week.  You'll just have to suffer and vote via the forum which I know is so hard.

Honestly? Not that hard. I find it to be rather easy actually.

That's not anonymous, unless I'm missing something.  I can't handle the judgment.

it's as anonymous as the front page poll.

So why is nobody voting on these? Is it because you have to do it through the forum? I want to start another one, but I want to make sure the issue is resolved first.

Well one of the reasons is guests can't vote in polls right now, so that lowers the total vote amount by quite a lot.

Aha, one more thing to change when you finish finals :)

Where do you do it on the forum? I tried to look without asking, because I didn't want to ask a stupid question, but I can't find it. If I knew where it was, I'd vote.

It should be on the front page of the thread. At least thats where I remember seeing it. And I wouldn't worry about stupid questions Chimera.

I thought we were talking about the poisoning one on the front page. You mean the "Yes, No, Preposterous!" poll?

Oh. If that's the case, then it worked the whole time. Sheesh. I guess I should get my polls straight.

The poll on the front page can be accessed through this forum in the thread "Poll 11/30/06," or something close to that. I'll use the poll title for the thread title next time.

I think that would help people find it. See if it makes it so more people participate.

You do know that any admin can give guests rights to vote in polls right?  I even gave steps on how you could do it if you want in the staff board.

Looks like guests can't vote in polls, ever, there's no option to allow them to do so.
