Title: Tor and Sci-fi team up

Sci-fi channel is going to be promoting TOR books in SCIFI magazine, TV and internet.  Right now all the books are sci-fi but hopefully they'll start doing fantasy too.

So the question is, "How does EUOL get involved in this?"

Or "How can a TWGer get a job as an editor there to get EUOL in"

Either works fine

Hence, we need to come up with a infiltration plan. Now we just need to find the right operatives, give them cool gear, send them in.

*42 realizes how easy it would be to train ferrets to be editors.*

oh, if there's cool gear than I'm definitely a volunteering.

Well, the cool gear probably consists of some white-out and a ball-point pen.

Uh... what does that say about me? Ferret-like?

Yes. But a clever ferret.

:)

Plenty cool for me.

Well, if only I could get my body to do the impossible twists and turns that Nefer can, I'd make a happy ferret.

A happy ferret? Or a twisted ferret?  ;D

They're one in the same.

Have you met Nefertiti (http://stacer.thelemur.net/Halloween-weekend-2004), Chimera? She's awesome. Though you have to watch your toes when she's around.

No, I haven't. I've never been invited to Spriggan and 42's house because they don't like me.  :'(

I have met Beaker though--EUOL's bird. Beaker actually let me hold him this last Tuesday, but then went back to EUOL at the first chance he got (apparently he doesn't like girls). However, he does like to talk to me. And he knows if he hears my voice that there is a chance he may get out of his cage. I yell, "Beaker!" when I walk down the stairs and he just flips out. The funniest, though, was when I was talking on the phone to EUOL and he said Beaker wanted to talk to me so he put the phone near him and I cried, "Beaker!" and he started chirping and yelling "Beaker" and would not calm down. I'll take that as some sort of sign of affection.

The only thing Beaker's ever done in my presence is run into the living room door. Poor Beaker! Well, he did let me hold him, but only for a little while. Neferititi can fold herself in half, though.  :D I need a pet. A cat. Anyone have a spare $300 to give me so I can pay the pet deposit?

Na it's because EUOL told us not to because, due to the Ferret, our apartment really, really, stinks.

Nefer is cute but she's equally smelly.

Anyone have another spare $300 so I can go to the Con in Seattle?

(I'm thinking of starting a "Send Chimera to Seattle" Fund. It's a very worthwhile cause.)

(Totally kidding, in case anyone missed the sarcasm  ;))

I have a cat. He is my rolemodel for apathetic disinterest.

Tage is just a wannabe.

Plus he screams when confronted by exploding zombies.

You can't prove that.

Ya that was quite funny, a few Zombie dogs (http://www.news.com.au/story/0,10117,15739502-13762,00.html) and some M-80s make fun party favors.

The memory of tage running, whimpering, from zombies in CoH forms the basis of my perception of him. :)

You *definitely* can't prove that. In fact, I believe I have evidence to the contrary:

you are aware that that's a video game right? and that you are not, in fact fighting real zombies? Because real zombies are what we're talking about.

I do believe CoH refers to "City of Heroes".
