I like it--it's far better than the last one, certainly.

How do I know it's *really* yours? I mean, there's no guy in a suit hiding his face/head.

For which I think we're all grateful.

As you can tell, they're marketing it as a straight suspense.

Much simpler, clearer design. I like it very much.

that is a lot better than the last one you had. Actually seems like it will fit.

Very safe--a good move on Covenant's part.  The readers will know what they're getting, and while the cover won't be memorable as wonderful, it also won't be memorable for being terrible.

It looks kinda scary to me.  But you mentioned suspence, so I guess it fits.

This is the sequel to Wake Me When It's Over, isn't it?  I wonder how it'll affect sales to change the marketing of the series on the second book.

Well, it's the sequel, but it doesn't require that you read the first book (although it certainly helps).  It actually won't be marketed as a sequel at all.  Wake Me sold kinda poorly (due in no small part to the cover) and we're trying to distance this book from that.

Yeah, I really like this cover. I liked the first one too, in all fairness, but this one looks much more serious, while the other one looked similar to a political cartoon.
