I've had a pretty bad day. Nothing big, just a lot of little factors adding up. I'm starting this to try to spread some cheer. The only rule is that you must give an honest compliment to the person who has posted above you. Be sincere, please (this means you, Saint).
Since there is no post above me, I'll compliment TWG. I lurked here for a long, long time before I actually posted and ever since I have I think I've been addicted. I visit a lot of message boards and this is by far and away my favorite. It's one of the few boards I've actually got to know people on. The reviews of the site itself drew me in, along with the Talisman article. I've tried to give a little bit back review-wise, but wish I could write more.
The best compliment I can give TWG is that it fulfils its mission statement. Like now, for instance, when I should be working through contact lens problems, I'm here typing this.

Dr. P is a pretty good guy. Don't know too much about him, but he's a cool dude. I thank him for his Avast Ye campaign. A basket of fun in a basket of chicken fingers. mmmmm
Edit: I don't want to cut in line or anything, but fuzzy, thats the nicest thing anyone's ever said about me. Thanks. I feel a lot better. :)

Gemm is really nice to his friends and is very spontaneous and creative.

Gemms a nice guy, if a little immature, but he's loyal, smart and occasionally funny.
Mr. Pleasingtons a great guy, friendly creative and one heck of a Dancer....
TWG is great fun.

Mad Dr. Jeffe always has interesting things to say and I like reading his responses, especially in the Rant section.

If it weren't for Brenna, I wouldn't know any of you here. She's welcoming and friendly, and I'm glad she's been my friend all these years.

Stacer is a GREAT editor and her advice for story changes are VERY helpful.

SE is a pretty cool guy. Not as cool as Mr Man, granted, but then who is? He has somehow managed to survive for 30 years in america without getting shot by a high school kid, which you have to give him kudos for. And he puts up with my moronic behaviour on MSN, and generally has a fairly intelligent response. Plus, he is a useful guy to know when you have questions about roleplaying games, history, or literature.

Entropy is... well he's surreally witting at times. And he sure can smack the newest of noobs. Overall... there's a basket just waiting for him somewhere, filled with something special probably. He's also hard to compliment.

Gemm is probably the most interesting person I know, and I mean that in a good way. Sure he'll say something completely random out of the blue occasionally, but that just helps you to have a different perspective on things.

Being the Newbie (as onion doesn't come around much...), I don't really know a lot about anyone. You all seem like fine people, though, or I wouldn't spend most of my waking hours here...I mean, today I almost took lunch in the library to read up on this site and the message boards just cause their so friggin' adicting... but then I decided I have to eat or rot away and die whilst on a computer reading statements from many a person. It was a tough choice, though. Maybe tommorrow...
Anyway, Jam hasn't posted a lot since I've been here (it's been less than a week so it's hard to really get the gist of people's personalities). But he seems to be intelligent enough to hold his own...

The way I see it, if you dish it out you should be able to take it. And boy do I dish it out. Hey Saint, I admire the fact you were willing to put up with my ignorance to the social formation, if it were, in the beggining.

Gorgon, despite the hazing we initially gave him, is still here.
Impressive.
What's more impressive, is that he seems to have gotten the idea. I expect him to develop into a productive forum member who is good to have around. Given my experience of 15 year old newbies, I never expected this to happen. I thought he would spam off topic stuff for a few months, then leave.

EUOL is, by far, an incredible author! He's also a very cool guy with an awesome pet. <beaker beaker> I first came to know him when his hours of wakefullness were after the sun set till it came back up again, and that seemed to add more coolness to his personality.
I hear he's also a great teacher, even when he lets Beaker eat his student's work. ;)

Fuzzy chooses good avatars, and when she isn't freaking out at someone (which is a pleasantly uncommon occurance when you use the Tiglath- Occarum measurement index) she is a good addition to a discussion.

Gorgon is the most loyal friend I have ever had. I have a good group of friends, none of which I have anything to say against. And I trust all of them. But Gorgon is the most loyal person I know, and I always know that I can fall back on him if I need to.

Yeah, the problem with this thread is that I want to say nice things about people, but then I feel guilty because people have to say nice things about me then. There's something screwed up about the system.

Onion is hilarious in that he is the weirdest person I know. Many of you might argue that Gemm is more so, but I suspect that many times Gemm is just being random, whereas with Onion you begin to think that he actually knows what he is talking about when he coins phrases such as, "Do the dinner roll!"

MsFish looks for the positive in things and tries to be a cheerful person (and succeeds most of the time!--which is more than I can say for myself, although I also try to be positive). She is willing to be a friend to anyone and help you out when you need it.
Plus she makes a really good fiction director and we should all encourage her to accept the position ;)

MsFish has beautiful long shiny raven black hair, the kind you would read about in a fantasy novel.
And as if physical beauty of fantasy proportions wasn't enough, MsFish is also incredibly giving and kind. Do you want to know why? Because she offered to pay for my Cascadia Con ticket. I'm paying her back, of course--as soon as I get a job this month--but she is buying it now before the price goes up and to make sure I can go. She picked up extra hours at work so she could, and just told me about it last night. I am so flattered.

JadeKnight is gorgeous, as all can see in my icon! He's tall and buff and has perfect hair (and it's all about the hair). And his smile weighs 87.08542e^8 degrees Fahrenheit, it is so hot--especially in Church clothes. He has the most attractive speaking voice I have ever heard. He is exploding with talent and charm. His mind is amazing, and no one in the world matches his writing and thinking.
Best of all, he has had impeccable taste in girls ever since he met me :P.

As for the Bot, I am amazed at how he seems to keep walking a fine line so well that he *just* barely avoids provoking SE (and probably all of SE's ninja monkeys) into going at him with an icepick. Impressive.

I believe Shrain has managed to avoid exhibiting any of the traits that usually annoys me in newbies (poor grammar and punctuation, me too comments, starting topics without cause, not forming coherent thoughts, etc.) That's impressive considering how long the full list is.
To Bot: It's neither actually. I actually named myself after a combination of Warhammer's Archaon and Starcraft's Archon/Dark Archon. As for the title, it was here before I was.

Well, every single (or couple or love triangle or whatever)thread in this godforsaken forum is a misnomer, so if the thread said right at the beginning that it was the only thread that wasn't a misnomer, then I wouldn't have put that.
And anyway, e, you should be complimenting me, because cherubs are like angels, angels make luck (sort of) and luck is lucky. So unless you want your name to be a misnomer too, I suggest that you shut your gob, move onto the next unsuspecting noob, and leave me alone.
