Title: Deadlands: Reloaded
Post by: Mr_Pleasington on May 27, 2006, 01:46:35 AM
Jeffe can back me up on this...

You all know I'm a huge, huge Deadlands fan. Favorite setting and everything.

Go out and buy Deadlands Reloaded this instant.  It's phenomenal.  It's the best entry point for the game, ever, and is fantastically designed.

Sure, you need Savage Worlds, but it's worth it.

Go.

Now!

Word, I ain't digested it all just yet, but this release of deadlands totally wiped the stain of D20 Deadlands from the universe...

Totally worth it...

Totally

And Mad Scientists and Huxters are the best ever.

P... are you digging the men in black ref as much as me with the Agents badge.

The whole Men in Black joke has been around since Pinnacle started using The Agency (before that it was the Pinkertons).

There's an from about five or six years ago called "Men in Black Dusters."

If you look deep enough, there's all kinds of pop culture references in Deadlands.  Even more in Hell on Earth.

Deadlands, is this the setting of supernatural wild west?  It looks interesting, but I've never really read anything about it or savage worlds.  So was there a d20 deadlands but then they changed the system or something?

It was a stand alone system in the early 90's then became a d20 setting and now its back as an in house system.
