All you gaming nerds might find this new MMORPG interesting:

While I'm currently playing DAoC, I'd be interested in looking at this one when it comes out.

I have to admit it looks pretty cool, but his praise is a little untrustworthy. "This is the MMORPG that convinced me to play a MMORPG" effectively means "I think this is the best MMORPG ever, even though I've never played any others."

On a similar but unrelated note, Star Wars Galaxies is accepting beta applications. I'd give you a link, but that's what Google is for.

I'm a little disenchanted with SW Galaxies. I think I'll wait for reviews of the finished product before trying anything with it.

Yea, the games for Star Wars have been craptastic, but Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike is looking extremely promising... The new Electron Gaming Monthly has a great article on it if you're willing to spend a little dough.

In other MMOG-related news, World of Warcraft now officially includes Night Elves. They act like the announcement is a big deal, but it's kind of like a fast food place announcing that they'll include cheeseburgers as well as hamburgers--they'd have been stupid not to include them, and everybody assumed they would.
